A few weeks before Nevil passed away, I was arguing with somebody on Instagram about the rumors Nevil spread that Sam the Skunk Man/David Watson was DEA and who turned in Nevil. The gentleman I was arguing with took the time to look Nevil's case up on pacer.gov and was nice enough to get back to me and tell me that I was correct, that Sam the Skunk Man/David Watson had absolutely nothing to do with Nevil's case, that it was some guy named Anthony Ray Cogo, and he sent me over all of the indictments and affidavits he had pertaining to Nevil's case which I am going to share with all of you.
I believe that Nevil may well have passed away not knowing who really betrayed him or who turn him in. And it is apparent to me that when Nevil and Mario were spreading rumors about Watson being DEA, they had no access to Cogo's affidavit dated Jan 1994, because it was no doubt sealed by the court until Nevil's case was finally dismissed in 2005.
I'm sharing all of documents I have, which are the two indictments from 1990 and 1994, and also the affidavit of the snitch, Anthony Ray Cogo. I'm also sharing some photos that I downloaded from Facebook which were posted by Anthony Ray Cogo in thread where he was talking to somebody on Facebook. When reading the conversation on Facebook, it appeared to me that Anthony Ray Cogo was unaware that we had seen his affidavit and that we knew the truth about his history being a DEA informant and the seed agent for Nevil from Jan 1998, till June 1989. During that time he states in his affidavit that he sent over 11,000 seed packages for Nevil in 18 months, and even though Nevil told him to destroy the names and addresses of the people who received the seeds, Anthony Ray Cogo kept the information and turned it over to the DEA in June 1989. Operation Green Merchant started October 1989, and now we learn that not only did the DEA sit outside of hydroponic stores looking for customers purchasing grow equipment, they already knew who the customers were who purchase Nevil's seeds because of Cogo.
Because this is history that has affected many of our lives, I'm posting all of the documents I have here today.
I welcome feedback.
