New Grower needing advice

So this is my 1st year growing outdoors and it is turn it out a little too awesome my plants are about 8' tall and kind of got out of control I wanted to take some pictures and see if anybody can give me some tips on how to prune maybe at 1st weekend of flour and I fill my plans are suffocating themselves they are so big any tips I can give photos

Pics help. Depending on how strong your strain is, you can usually remove a lot.

I start with massive fan leaves that cover budsites. Then I remove any branches that are not going to give me fat buds. Then clear the lower third of the plant. But I'm a butcher when it comes to pruning.
