Experienced Growers! What do you think, when should i harvest based on these pics?

I am really inexperienced, this is my first grow ever, i hardly can even differentiate trichome maturity...
What i know is I don’t like couchlock high, nor too energetic, i prefer a rather heady but relaxing high. This is an indica dominant hybrid.
What would you advice, what do you think?

She is getting close. When the trichome heads look milky instead of mostly clear like shown is when she is most potent.

maybe a couple more nights, keep looking at milky/cloudy trichomes, amber for more CBD, throw it in darkness for a couple days, chop and hang, maybe a soft trim, let hang for 5-10 days in 60-70s F 55-65 rh? trim/manicure when stems/branchs bend but not completely snap

Thc degrades into useless CBN. Not CBD.

I think at least a week to 10 days without knowing the strain.

I can't tell you when, but I can tell you not yet.

Too many genetic and environmental variables to give any accurate time.

What does putting it in darkness for a couple of days b4 harvest do?

After the first 24 hrs. The starches in the plant go back down to the roots. Supposed to help speed up curing for smoother taste sooner.

After that nothing. Its an old myth like most of the silly things us weed growers do.

We just want our grow to be the best and will try anything to make it so!

Of course. I get it. All we can do is keep the plants healthy and be patient for the buds to finish growing all the way and ripen to as close to 100% cloudy trichomes as can be.

And most importantly keep a stable environment. And dont over fertilize.

That will promote quality more than any tricks or additives.
