My ph goes from 5.2 to 8.something in 4 hours....

My ph goes from 5.2 to 8.7 with in 4 hours. How why?? I didn’t soak my Rockwell like I should, but this happen without being feed. I keep my dwc temp under 70. I do ph down with lemon juice. 400 watt light 10 gal res Help please anyone!!

Lemon juice is the reason. It's breaks down very fast in hydro stay away from that and citric they break down very easy. I would suggest phosphoric or sulfuric acid based ph down.

Lemon juice would be a good option in soil.

Forget the shit ya read online that's says it work. It doesn't
