Welcome to THCF!

Don’t worry on yields just yet if your a noob, anyone can get a lot of bud but if your trying to sell it or even smoke it. Don’t you want to grow quality and do it right?

ENDING yield factor for cannabis = 30% elite genetics , 30% environment , 15 % process and cure , 15% nutrition and grower passion/effort= end result

It’s not magic nor will any bottle or nute give you that % to over % to defeat a proper environment or genetic . You need everything or you lose a major factor in the end. Passion gives you big buds and knowledge ;)

I usually yield about 5 ounces a plant running two hps 600w Sont bulbs, and would usually have like 4-6 plants. This time around im doing two plants and a 600w bulb per plant wanting to up the watt per gram ration aiming for a gram per watt probably wont achieve it though will be happy with 0.85 grams per watt

Thankyou for your reply, this is roughly what i expect, i used to run 2 x 600w hps but now have switched to led, im hoping somthing similar everthough the actual watt on leds are mot the true Watts., i do run 2 x 50ws smaller lights a bit lower down too. The plants seem to like it.

Genetics is really going to determine yield IMO. To many variables to give an answer. I did pull just over 2lbs under a HLG600 in a 4x4 x6.5 sealed environmentally controlled room with Co2 in RDWC with a scrog with 4 plants. That was a mistake that was caused by using a manual timer that i fucked up and ended up vegging a week to long. it gave me grey hairs and I will never do that again. So i would not consider this the norm

2 lbs nice any Lst or hst involved, hyponic setup or standard?
I only grow a couple max at a time, i am growing a nice strain atm so im hoping the yield will big on the heavier/larger side.

4 plants topped at about 5th node, RDWC hydroponic using mega crop. was white widow. in a scrog, vegged for 4.5 weeks. It was not nice it was a stressful af grow and i was lucky to pull it off. On a medium yielding strain 1.5 is usual for me.

Anyone got experience with the strain green crack? first time growing and apparently the stretch is massive just trying to prepare as my last strain i grew for a couple years was heavily indica and plants would only reach a couple feet tall. @Aquaman how big were your plants after 4.5 weeks vege?

I keep anticipating yield too. I have a single 315cmh with a philips 3100 bulb. 4 plants. Anything over an ounce and I’ll be happy I guess. It’s more of the learning aspect of things for me right now.

Yeah man you did well i didnt defoliate on my second grow had 12 plants all tightly compacted n didnt realise about air flow until too late got like a few 7 gram tops from each plant and the rest was just scrap, learnt my lesson hahah

Oh i had plenty for baking. I could have chopped the tops then continued to flower the rest another week but i didn't as i knew i was gonna have plenty and love edibles so

If you know all of this, than why are are you asking such open and stupid questions and then stomping on the answer with such obvious things you could google or just search on here?( which is right in front of you)
what you want me to say ? 20lb per 1000w? You just have to have a strain I have ( which even when people say specific strains that means nothing when it could be fake or completely diff pheno or act diff in your environment )

I’m not going to be a yes man and tell you some big number under a specific light when it takes those things, your obviously not a grower

I’m done ( I spent too much time trying to help ya)

I agree there is just no way to tell man... Just to many variables to try and account for.

Before you start getting om your high horse, i wasnt looking for answers, if people feel the need to post about their crop and discuss yield size then they can, i wasnt searching for your so called answer
And yes i am not a grower, i am new to this so another brownie point to you for welcoming new people
so well, Get a life.

I agree theres no way to tell either, but hes not asking for specific numbers hes asking basically what lights perform the best, and what different lights average I understand that strain and other factors count but its not like you can grow a lb with a 100w led so i think hes more looking for a range of yields from different lights, its not that hard to understand? And also from day one of starting out everyone wants to estimate yields i know there is no accurate way of determining it but you'd be lying to yourself if when you first started that wasn't the only thing you thought/ cared about...
