DAY 22 Plant number 1 seems stunt. I think it's because I probably overwatered so I'm waiting for soil to dry out really good this time. Plant number 2 seems really healthy to me. It's out growing the other plant.

You are topping seedlings in solo cups? That could stunt them permanently.

Its hard to look at your pics. Please use natural light. More growers will chime in.
I topped it in its permanent pot. And I'll take lights with the lights off today.

Here's some pictures with no LED lights. Please someone give me some information. I'm starting to get some yellowing on the bottom leave. Is this due to overwatering or what can it be.

You're killing it with Too much light, too many nutrients and over watering. At this point you might want to consider starting over and tossing this one into the learning bin. Next time try not to kill em again with too much light too many nutrients and over watering.

You should prolly use the first lights you were using before the LED and leave the LED for later when you're plants are much bigger, for the first 30 days from seed the first lights are plenty. If you must use the LED you're gonna need to raise it really high above the tiny seedlings like 4 feet.

If you continue to use soil with nutrients already in the soil you don't need to add more nutrients and over feed and kill your plants, you can probably get two months out of that bag of soil with small plants like that before you have to worry about having to add more nutrients because the plant got so big that it ate all the food in the bag.

And the over watering problem is easy to fix, water when the plant wants to be watered and not when you feel like it, lift the container the plant is growing in and if it feel light with no water than water it, and it should be once a week if you're in the right size container, if you're having to water more than once a week you need to repot to a bigger container.

If you can do those three things you're gonna be successful good luck young Skywalker.

I haven't fed a lot of nutts. Just feed once to be real and I didn't even feed what the bottle said I went way under that. And the lights I have are not strong at all. It's only pulling 65 actual watts. I was planning on getting another light instead because I felt that was way to low.

Bad idea to cut or train very young plants. I was worried for you.

Most will say to wait til at least 5 nodes before topping. Give the rootball a chance to grow.

i typically cut at 3, thatโ€™s what momma thought me when I was but a teen many decades ago ๐Ÿ˜†โœŒ๐Ÿป

Hi hello plants look pretty good I agree with most of the posts on soil I would recommend Fox farm ocean blend You can buy it at any hydroponic score it's not too expensive and it has all the needs you need for the first three months of growth I would also consider packing a little bit of dirt around them long stems they are attending the stretch too high from the dirt again you can lower the light but I understand you don't want to burn the plant so pack some soil around the stem to keep it from breaking also in about 3 weeks at a light breeze to them with a fan not too close though Hope all is well and everybody's staying safe and happy for 20 week God
bless from all of us here at Bud shiners Inc
