How much is your time worth?

According to my employer, $27/hr. Took me maybe 2 hours to build total after making additions and stuff so if you factor in my time then the damn thing was way too expensive lol but like aquaman said the hobby aspect of it is fun for me as well. I’d like to say I grew something compliment worthy in my ghetto fab tent. Like the beater with the 450 under the hood that smokes the eye candy off the line

How much are you watering your plants when dry? do you water with run off? Im just looking for another first time growers opinion.
What soil?

I’m using a 50/50 mix of Fox Farm Ocean Forest and Fox Farm Happy Frog. Up until the last 2 watering I was giving a 1/2 gallon each watering and I water 2-3 times a week. I had some problems with overwatering so I was giving them just enough water I didn’t even saturate the medium after transplanting until this week and I would wait until the soil was pretty dry which would happen after like 2 days and then I’d water on the third. Then she started slurping down that half gallon quick and by the second day soil was bone dry so I upped it to a gallon and I’ve had to water 2 times this week. Once on Monday and once yesterday but I typically wait until the soil is pretty dry and my healthy leaf angles look like they’re slightly lower than happy. With a 1/2 gallon I wasn’t getting any run off with a gallon I’m getting a little bit of run off. It’s really just learning what your plant wants. You can always add more water but it’s hard to take it away so I just water with less and then if I need to add more then I do.

How many plants do you guys suggest for my first grow in 2x3x5’ tent? Have 1500w King LED & 6” fan. The floor space can fit 6x3 gallon pots. Have FEM WW (non auto). Here is a pic of the set up:

How much is your time worth?

That depends entirely on what job I'm doing.

Home hobby grow stuff, I'll do it myself. Working on cars and appliances, do it myself. That said if the cost savings is minimal I might just buy premade or pay for services because I'm too busy otherwise.

Now crawling into a spider infested crawlspace to replace old broken septic pipes on the other hand... I cant afford me. Even expensive plumbers will do that for less than I would require in payment for such services. lol. That's some fear factor shit in my world.

But i digress. A fair bit.

Depends on how long you want to veg and if your going to train and how. If ya got the beans for em all in and flip early for fastest grow and depending on you experience and how healthy ya keep the plants will determine yield. On the other hand plant 1 seed veg for a long ass time and train a lot. There is no real answer I can give others may be able to.

I personally like the less is more approach so far but since I haven’t harvested after focusing on just 1 plant I don’t really know. I personally think that I would rather have 1 plant of really prime fat dense buds rather than spreading my light super thin over a bunch of plants and getting a few decent buds and the rest larf. If you’ve got the light for 6 plants frikkin do it but I would go for the optimum amount of light To plant ratio if it were me. But like I said I really have no clue.

Ok feed plants today checked ppm and all that fun stuff. Here are some pics now see what happens. Also took off a leaf or 2 hear and their. And add 2 cups to my tent lmao. Oh and that one plant decided to start to drop again so we will see what's up. Lifted lights because of the stretch of my plants. And have temp and humidity almost on point to be ok with vpd for the stage my plants are at. So hope they eat well.

Just remember to give them clones some fresh air daily, and I'm not sure you need the dome but I do here.
Good to smell them too just for musty smells later. Easy to wait till they show sex also;)

I think someone on this thread earlier had a pic of one plant that was Fimmed with a ton of nice colas. It may be too ambitious for first grow but I think I will try that. Just put a seed in the peat pellet.

Oh was just some bottom growth. Cut up the stem to leave the top. At the bottom I cut at a angle left in water with a drop of root grow stuff and just put in a cup with fox farm ocean soil. And wrapped it all up by saying a prayer and Lighting a candle lmao I'm Mexican that's how we get down lmao. Also I know noting about growing or clowning.

So gave plants a feeding yesterday and took off a few leaves here and their nothing crazy just to allow a lil air flow. Really only did it to 2 plants to test out. But here are some pics taken a few minutes ago. So my pics are taken at normal setting then 2x.
