To make it fair I would suggest @SadBadGrower you set a standard for entry.
Something to the effect the solo cup should have a distinctive signature on the cup for positive ID.
Also each member should post pics of progress at least every 4-5 days so as to make sure peeps don’t have a second or third going off to the side to sneak in when no ones looking.
Just a suggestion:)

I picked 3 beans for the challenge 1 will be my entry. I’m thinking the far left, that bean is the first to crack:)

I agree
at 1st there was 2-3 so no big deal....

but we should have longer and a flip date
I'm good with whatever we do... I just see a few extra's thing that 1d1 said that should be done........

Rules are as follows if you're already in or would like to join.

1. Solo Cup only or equivalent cup of 16 oz. ONLY


2. Post your grow info. Lights used, medium and so on.

3. Post at minimum once a week ( picture included ) of your grow and anything related to the plant. Link can be added to your signature.

4. Keep it fun and friendly.


5. Have fun.


6. Flip date of NO later then New Years Eve.


I'm sure these are easy and simple things to follow if you'd like to join or already have joined. Thanks everyone.

If someone cheats then shame on them. Hoping we can get fun and active as well as honest growers.

Does that mean regular or feminized seeds only? Autos allowed?

On this some areas its hard to find 16oz. Most are 18oz now. Same look just 18 check em. But i dont tgink 2oz is a maker or breaker personally.

Can I use a clone? Have too many seeds going atm. Im going to setup a 315 just for this solo cup and put it on drip if I can use a clone.

Any kind of seed is allowed. Clones would make it rather unfair in a way to anyone starting a seed.

16 oz 18 oz is fine. Both are standard sizes depending your location.

Cup is ready, waiting on the bean to pop. This is a 18oz cup. Putting the date I plant on it when it happens. Just haven't figured if I'm putting it under a real light,

We could have a vote of best plant at the end. No prizes just an unofficial title of solo cup Christmas tree champion for the person who got the most votes.
