Here is a plant from one of the seeds found in the Headband lowers. Again it was likely polinated by the chocolate diesel or Chem cross. So I have no idea how she will flower. But man she is a real nice plant so far.

Had to take a pic while watering her.

Im ready to get more soil. Im considering going back to pro mix hp for cost, ease of use and cleaner than ammended potting soil. Also never saw gnats or springtails when i used promix.

That is the cheaper option. My other choice is to order fresh Mother Earth groundswell. But that is $20 a bag. Almost 4x the cost of a bale of promix at the feed store.

But i had my best results ever in the mothers earth and it comes with enough perlite so no mixing that dusty crap.

Any opinions my growing friends?

Cost vs. gain. thats a real tough one. I'm lazy so if i had the $$$ 1 and done but 4x is a chunk

Well i was much newer at this when i used promix before. Maybe i know how to fertilize better and can equal gains. I really will only have to mix nutes a few times in veg for the 4-5 plants i ever have in the veg tent.

I think with pure blend pro i will retain most of the flavors. May even taste “cleaner”. I did like using pro mix and the results at the time. But water only veg and the natural organic start to their life is why i switched. Plus OF was available (at the video store and garden center lol. ) right here in our little town.

I mean I'm all about cost cutting at every corner so that's where my opinion lies. Do you plan to reuse the soil? Maybe run them both on a run side by side and decide. Should be a huge issue if you don't have a crazy plant count. Reusing it would cut that cost to almost nothing most likely. Maybe start composting. I feel if going this route you do it 100% to get the best bang for your buck.
