Ur late dude! we all know they are not the same, just both important. Both can be worked around with proper watering and fertilizing. The plants adapt.

In the little cup with the dome is the first taprooted Girl Scout Cookie seed. Germinated in less than 24 hrs. Its a CC fem and is actually Pre 98 Bubba x Forum Cut GSC.

I have never grown Girl Scout Cookies or any cross yet. I am excited to see this one.

Those label stakes are real important to me. I put sprout/ planted clone date, 1 gallon transplant date, 3 gallon transplant date, and 12/12 switch date. I always know how long they have been in pots for soil nutrient degradation and how long they are flowering at a glance.

And of course what strain they are and maybe what number seed of a pack. ;-)

The more I listen to how you do stuff the more I feel like one of us has been copying the other. When I had my super soils I would transplant into bigger pots just like you do, adding fresh soil until the plant would go into the final pot. I also keep pertinent info on my white stakes. 🤔

You know i have been thinking for a long time but never tried. What if I transplanted up to say a 7 or 10 gallon pot after week 2? Would the ocean forest feed through flower or would the roots not keep growing into the new soil?

I would say yes it would feed through to the end if you up potted to 10gal from your 3's. But do YOU want to deal with that pot size with your back? That's why I'm try coco, in my 3gal pots. I finished in 10gal didn't have issues, but i would also top dress towards the end sometimes.

I personally would not do it. Transplant in flowering.

I dont see why it would hurt. Im just not sure it will work. When i tested 3 gallon vs 5 With the same veg time i didnt yield any more bud. Just used more water and nutes when i watered.
Yeah if the plant is the same size going into flowering probably going to yield the same even if your in a bigger pot. I think honestly you have found your sweet spot for your setup.

I agree don't mess with a good thing you have going .... your grow runs good......................................

Not lately. Still havent figured out why i am locking out phosphorous and calcium or mag around week 4.

Climbs right up the fan leaves. Typical cold roots or overwatering but neither should be a problem at this point.

Im going for new soil this afternoon but if it was the soil i would see deficiencies in veg at some point I would think.

Like they say. Happens to all of us. I am frustrated and want to know what I am doing wrong.

I ran into all kinds of trouble last run when I changed my mix and my newts, I've got it worked out now (it was the Dolomite and underfeeding) but did you change your mix? Are you using different newts or adding any new supplements?

On the bright side we have a little Girl Scout Cookie sprout coming up. Not even 24 hrs to tap root in a moist coffee filter in a baggie in a container on a heat mat. (Follow that?) and now sprouted in one day as well. Fast little sucker.

Nope. Only change has been different brand of large perlite. Never found the sunleaves bag again. This perlite is big chinks and very little dust though. Dont see why its bad. I will mix the next bag if i get ocean forest with a bit more to see if this is drainage related.

Been happening through 2 bags of Ocean Forest. Maybe they were too old and the nutrients had been compromised? But also trying the new perlite. I wish there were no variables. Because im sure its me measing up somehow and not realizing.

Also I still have some gnats. But only a couple flyers here and there. Using Microbe Lift again after a few week break.

Aaaarrgggggggg!

Im still debating checking the feed store for a fresh bale of pro mix hp or getting more ocean forest locally. Hopefully one or the other is available. I have transplants about ready.

i answer that, they will keep growing and filling the pot, then you will have a monster of a plant, when i did it in 5 gal bucket, plants got 7ft tall and i was scrambling to keep out of my exhaust fans and lights, with a ton of bending and tieing i did have a great harvest though
