I am into 8 weeks grow now. All 3 of the plants have lower leaves looking like this. That have been nice and green all along until now. Looks kind of like brown spotting starting. Is it normal for the timeframe or are they teying to tell me something?

Runoff ec? Yellowing from the bottom up is either N deficiency or early signs of a toxic salt build up.

So if its N deficiency do i need to up my nutes? I have been about 1/4-1/2 of the bottles recommended dose. This is what i am using. Thats the first i ever heard anything about toxic salt build up. I will do a search to study that.

Hannah feed schedule 001
will do a search to study that.
i know you know to go at least 1/4 to 1/2 strength than what a manufacture recomends ,but look at it in another level,if you add there recomended dose and by there schedule chart you will find that they are strong ,enough to burn your plants,so let me show you a chart that might help you in the future,
this is the hannah feed chart, you notice that at difrent stages require difrent levels of ppm of minerals right ,or if you prefer ec levels this is the 500 scale, but reguardless of which scale you use the ec is all the same,so the manufacture might be giving you the right recomendation but does not say at what stage,so that said you use this chart to feed your plants, your plants are in full flower ,so your ppm of feed going in should be 1000 to 1600 ppm of feed ,this is if you had been going by this schedule, since you havent and you need to feed your plants better, take what you been mixing and measure what your ppm is and what ph your running, what is the ppm and what should it be,so dont just blast in there and start feeding it 1000 if you only been feeding 600 right, that would be the 1/4 strength you been talking about, what is your ppm after you mix at 1/4 strength and let us know?

8 weeks in is just about the end of it life span also,so it could be bad feeding patterns or it just dying, but the white hairs tell me it aint ready to give up the life yet

It looks like you’ve got into about week 3 flower to me. If that’s the case, during the stretch in the first 2 weeks your plants took up all the N and are yellowing because of that. But, without measuring the runoff every time you water you could be building up a toxicity of the other salts your adding every time you feed.

Thanks. Thats probably where my screwing up comes in. I have never checked it as far as ppm goes. I have only mixed up with the reduced dosing and was only used every other watering. My ph is always 6.5 checked after adding any nutes or silica and even making sure its on the mark with the distilled water i use. What is recommended to check ppm? I am not afraid to spend money on the right equipment or supplies to make my grows right.

just a cheap tds -ppm meter off amazon friend,i kinda figured this is what was going on,hey i did the same thing when i started, but i started with recomend of producer burnt my shit up aint lieing as in throw away start over, that meter will save your bacon,go by those numbers and it doesnt matter which nutrient you use, there all the same each come from the same minerals from the ground and process.processed by there own ways ,all the same though.
so when you mix and check let me know what it was starting out, also you mentioned distilled water ,do you have hard water out of tap?if you have a ppm under 150 out the tap use that water, you can drop ph with lemon or you can raise it with silica ,so check your water source also.
anyway i just buy cheap ph and ppm meters off amazon for 20 bucks and roll ,the high dollar ones work about as good as the cheap ones ,hope i did help friend

At least It's OMRI. My only concern would be vermiculite added to it and too much moisture in the root zone. But shouldn't be causing any problems. Those soils are really for people who don't garden much. Gives them some wiggle room.

I'm also using the same nutes and didn't had problem.. I check the runoff and pH 3 weeks once and it's good.

Btw, what's your mixing per gallon? Also do you happen to have any CalMag?

I was using 1/4 ts per gallon. I am hoping that was my issue. I dont have cal mag. Would i use that in addition to my nutes and silica?
