ugh fine - the truth: im upset that i got my hopes and dreams up on the idea of winning a led light to try.
As ive been really interested in them.

when i saw what they were doing, just really bummed me out.

I will just unsubbed from getting notifications and go back to my coco thread.
I was just using the other forums as a reference to say they are all ran funny it seems like. It does totally suck putting the effort in only to lose to someone who's just been around a while. I know the feeling all to well. Hell....I've yet to win ANYTHING from a site.

I feel like the forum and its staff or its advertisers dont owe me anything.

I am here just for the community, even if they openly just gave promotional stuff to people they like only or whoever they choose that's their business. 🤣

I dont think they are doing that, but I honestly wouldn't care if they did. If I wanted a Mars, I'd buy one lol.

That's honestly how I am now. If I want it, I'll buy it. If I win it, great. I wouldn't let it ruin my day though.

how many folks you know work those vehicles?
my point is kinda like this,in the mid 70's the big three started making fuel and envormental changes to vehicles ,and all have been shit even now reguadless of all the turbo sand shit,i got a car and the damn thing is shoulder to shoulder with whom ever is riding in the car, even in my 69 camaro i still had room to fart in there hahaha, they quit making luxury cars bro, they sell shit out of suv's and trucks and they get the worse gas mileage and are very prone to top heavy roll over but folks love um and think there cool,if i went 20 miles down the hiway right now,i would see maybe 1 truck that is actually for what they are for ,working and being used for that.
so all the shit back then was useless, not only that but that when the beauty of a vehicle disapeared to,again back to lazy americans ,style instead of common since of spending 100 bucks month on fuel instead of something cool and spending 700 a month on fuel ahahahha
the car made over seas aint for shit either, man bring back them big ass ole boats with freaking horse power and steel that when you kick that bitch you draw back a broke toe hahahahh

I was in the new car business in multiple management capacities for 25 years. Now here in michigan most of the factories even out here on the west coast are making car parts for american cars.

The industry has been international with less than 30% american parts since the late 80’s.

The worst cars we made was around that time.

Now our cars and trucks last 200k miles easy. Far cry better than my 74 cutlass supreme.

Hell my dodge mini van is on its original engine and tranny and has over 250. The mrs. Last 01 ford taurus went 315 only major repair was a head gasket.

The body rusted out and thats what is wrong with my van too. If we were out west they would not have rusted either.

But some points I fully agree with you.

i got a 83 chevy c10 in the drive way,yes the car was the killer of most vehicles them days, but you know what and the main thing,i have a ammo box behind the seat full of tools that i can rebuild the whole damn truck with,no shit every tool in that box is from working on them oild trucks and cars, and they dont take a college degree to work on ,so i disagree with the 80 statement,at the least there easy to fix and a motor for one of them is 1800 bucks for a long block drop in,versus 5k for a drop in 4cyl long block, the main reason i dont work on cars anymore,i cant keep up with them, they are built to recycle these days not keep ,that tank in the driveway got a home till i die ahahahahah

I agree but it has been a long time since you could rebuild yourself. So many wearable electronic parts since the 80’s.
