Hey there - I have been poking around this forum garnering information here and there for a while now. Figured I should create an account and share my current plant in progress!

This photo was taken 3 days after germination of the seed.

The above photo was taken 8 days after germination.

3rd photo taken 12 days after germination. At this point I had to leave the country for 10 days - during this period I was was forced to ask a family member to check on my plant. Although my family member has experience growing, LED's were a curve ball.

This is the unfortunate result of my absence at an early stage of growth =/ Day 22 was a major disappointment upon arriving home.

Fortunately day 29 was looking a bit better. Removing damaged fan blades and transplanting into a 15 gallon container with Fox Famrs Ocean Forest promotes excellent vegetative growth.

Day 34 rolled around the ol girl was nice and healthy but I was concerned about height/space/light saturation. My solution... extremely late game LST.

The photo above was taken 9 hours after my emergency LST session...

Fast forward to day 49 and she has filled out and we are about ready to hit our blooming stage.

Day 49 ready for some pruning. Not the best photo but when you keep in mind how old she was when put under LST I was excited to see how resilient these plants are.

This was taken day 56 (officially one week into bloom) post a light pruning.

Day 63 (week 2 of bloom) post trim she has been stretching and made some heavy cuts to improve air flow and light penetration. Also - I was hacking up a lung due to the flu so please disregard my pile of medicine in the background 😅

Week 3 of bloom. Nice close shot. Going to throw a few more in here.

And these bring us close to today's date. My next update will be tomorrow night which brings us to day 26 of bloom. Just shy of entering week 4.

This is my first attempt with A5 Haze x Thai Bx. I think she is doing well overall considering the road bumps I ran into early on. Would have liked to cut her veg time down a few weeks and entered LST at a much earlier date. My surprise trip out of the country threw a huge wrench in my plans.

Nutrient line - Sensei Grow and Sensei Bloom
Supplementing microbial health with a tea made by a wonderful shop owner local to my area once a week.
Watering with distilled water (my area has chlorine in tap water and I am not a big fan of the chemicals required for de-chlorination) with 10ml of molasses 15 ml of Sensei Bloom A (3-0-0) and 15 ml Sensei Bloom B (2-4-8) per gallon.

That's about it for now. Ill will share an update tomorrow.

Looks good, better than my current situation. But this looks to be a photoperiod plant and I have an autoflower. What LED are you using brand and model? I worked a little at a grow company in Florida, maybe you trimmed a little too much of the fan leaves off. I think they're pretty essential to good growth. However I'm on my first grow and its not the prettiest plant either haha. Good luck with your harvest looking forward to see your end results.

I am using a Philizon 900w (no specific model as far as I can tell) a little background on my grow setup this was initially started as a "cost effective grow" which turned into more of an investment than I expected. After the early game set backs my curiosity to see the plant produce turned into a challenge I need to see to the end. Next round will require a bit of an investment into a higher quality LED.

Back to the post 😅 Fingers crossed in regard to the fan blades. My previous plants tended to suffer from a lack of defoliation and as this plant was meant as an experiment - I went at it hard.

My tent is a 3×3 base with a mid line LED. Light saturation was a major factor when I decided to hit her so hard.

Heres to hoping for the best! 🤞

Today brought us to day 26 of bloom! Sharing a few photos while she was getting a little water.

Slowly starting to fatten up. I am not 100% but I expect 9 - 12 weeks before harvesting this strain?

Nice view of the canopy...

Found these brown tips beginning to show on some of the popcorn buds. Sort of surprised to see the tips turning at day 26 for this strain. Maybe this is normal for popcorn buds which lack the amount of light my tops are getting? Let me know what you see...

This is a primo example of, "f*ck I made a mistake." This branch leads to one of my larger cola's. During day 63r's trim (entering week 3 of bloom) this node was cut way too deeply. Figured the healthy material could be used as a bandaid of sorts. A little thread held my mistake in place and she seems to have healed well.

I love seeing how well these plants (and many others) adapt so well to our mistakes. If anyone reads this and happen to be new to farming, do not be discouraged if your plants are struggling. Take it as an opportunity to learn, adapt and keep on going.

Best of luck to everyone ✌

Side bar question. A few sites have mentioned doubling or even tripling nutes input during the final 2 weeks of bloom BEFORE your flush. Anyone heard of this? If so, intended for dwc, soil, coco etc?

Hey hidaze , it would seem logical (to feed more )as we watch these plants tear up space and time as they do amazing things like turn into big fat colas towards the end of the flower cycle , but me personally , i wouldent really change much drastically.especially in your case where everything is going so smothly ,

Your plants have great color and from what i can see , no defiiency ...
They are moving along perfect,

Marketers and nutrient manufacturers do a great job selling eye candy to a eager group of growers , ive seen many friends destroy , what looks like a perfectly happy plant beccause they had to add part 1,2,3,4, start , grow fire , lightning ,monkey, rhino, dinosaur , bud blood , two hot hookers ......tons of shit and potions , and then just waste 500.00 bucks and their plants ,
keep it going the way you are , maybe add a pinch more nutrients , you can check your ppms but , me i just watch my plants usually , and i can see yours are happy....

You might need to be prepared for 9 or 10 weeks with a sative.....
But most are usuall good by day 75 / 80

Good luck , keep us posted

Thanks for your input! A few folks had mentioned bumping their nutes from 15ml per gallon clear into the 30 and 40ish ranges during the final few weeks. Adding some additional nutrients makes sense but that seemed insane lol

I may take your advice and add a little more towards the end. Fingers crossed the next 6 - 8 weeks progress with no curveballs thrown in. Cannot wait to see the final product :)

Day 29 in Bloom. We officially entered week 4! Some photos while watering. Gotta say she is super SUPER frosty. Waiting for some bulk to explode. All in all pretty happy for my first time with this strain.

What I see... my LED served me well during veg. Interested to see how it performs during bloom. The footprint of this light is sorta irking me. I almost want to throw a second one in to ensure my saturation is optimal.

The scientist in me wants to run the gauntlet and see what this little setup can do. Guess we wait and see ✌
