3 weeks into flowering and no bud

Perhaps throwing such a small immature plant into flower is why it took so long, might not have been ready.

Im thinking the same thing, whenever I have flipped early they have taken longer to show sex.

Would also suggest you get back to a 12/12 schedule. If you feel like living on the wild side 12.5 on and 11.5 off may help your situation. 10/14 is definitely counter productive to your DLI (daily light intake)

Thanks for your pervious comments aswell lights are about 3 inches away, I will look into better light solutions in the next few days even if its just adding a few more

Yeah I has slowly been showing more and more preflowers in the last 2 weeks I can see around 9 on each plant now, I think I just need more light for them

Hey Grmoan, just tossing this out there your lights would work 10x better (ok that might be an exaggeration) than they are now if you would pop the plastic off to expose the led's. Those plastic covers to make them look like old school light bulbs drastically cut the performance of those small led's.

Very true. Some are difficult, I use a hacksaw to start and they usually pry off after I cut through the plastic. Much better/stronger light. I'm using them in my small greenhouse, from 4am-7am and 5pm-8pm to give plants 16hrs and keep them in veg. Works well. I've got a couple GDP's in there now and vegged 12 girls to 2 months old before moving to a larger greenhouse to flower.

So I need to warn you all now this is and has been a very cheap DIY grow, my first it started with a baggie seed from some very nice bud and am using it as a practice to growing before investing, I don't expect any large yeilds

It has had to deal with the cold temperature in my area at the moment so it is only just over 2ft tall I was just wondering if I need to give it more time or will it never start

. Also agree with suggestions on more lighting. How big are your growing bags? Might need bigger bags.

It is a bucket with the lip cut off I was avoiding going bigger to keep the plant sorter or will I need to either way

Keeping small plants in smaller pots is fine and you don't want to transplant after they begin flowering anyway. Any extra light you can give them will help.
