Good afternoon everyone i'm new here and new to cannabis Cultivation, i live in a legal state but i need to eliminate all odor inside and outside of the home. i'm growing in a basement in a 4x4 grow tent, i'm using a 6 inch fan and filter exhaust and a 4 inch intake fan and filter, should i vent the tent outside or into the attic. i appreciate any advice, (led lights)
Thanks

Get a charcoal filter with a 6 inch fan and scrub the basement.
When I say scrub that means pushing air from the fan into the filter to clean the smell. You need no piping works great.

When you say Scrub the basement you mean like just run it in the basement not attached to the tent

Agreed with 1diesel1. I will send a photo of my exhaust setup later. 6 inch intake for my 3x3 pulled into a 6 in ducting leading to my squirrel fan which pushes into my 6 in intake charcoal filter. Grow in a spare bedroom. Have guests frequently and never smell a bit of bud. Works like a charm. And activated charcoal lasts a very long time.

Pending the squirrel fan you acquire they can move a massive volume of air per cubic foot. You can stand next to your tent in the last week of bloom and never smell it.

Ps the image below is a "squirrel fan".

Yes, all the odor from the tent will be absorbed threw the fan can in the basement. I do the same in my flower room.

Just an fyi your 4Wx4L×6H(guessing) tent is 96 cubic feet of space. If you snag a squirrel fan pulling 600+ cubic feet per minute of air you will keep that basement smelling like... well, nothing.

Here’s my exhaust circuit, draws out of the top of each 4x4 tent, through the DIY junction (cardboard box) through phatt 30lb charcoal filter.
