Banana god strain. Cmh 315 vs purple morsen led 250 watts

Whats good guys. day 2 of flower and i felt id start up a quick journal for the next 8 to 10 weeks. The strain is banana god started from clone. They’re were vegged for 40 days and flipped yesterday.

phillips 315 bulb 3100
Morsen purple led ( amazon) 250 true watts.

Led plant is 21 inches
Cmh plant is 19 inches tall

both are at suggested height for flower.

running 14 inches away from the light on led.

20 inches for the cmh. As they stretch I will adjust

Day 9 flower

Led is up to 23 inches
Cmh is 22 inches

so I’ve noticed with soil and nutrients to never give full strength. Im running emerald harvest right now two part series, with recharge as my beneficial bacteria.

so instead of giving my plants all they’re food at once i break it down into two per feeding. They’ve been drinking every two to 3 days. So today they’ll get king kola and honey chome at 4ml ( suggested is 8ml ). Next feeding bloom and and b at 2.5 ml. You guys catch my drift. Lol

Day 15 of flower

Just got a plain ph water yesterday. Their both the same height sitting at 24 inches.

the led seems to have more bud sites. But the cmh plant is overal the stronger plant.Today i noticed the stems are thicker/sturdier.

both plants 16 inches away from plants. But i feel ill be lowering the led as the flowers pack on.
Next feeding will be bloom a and bloom b at 2.5 ml with some real growers recharge.

This is awesome! I have been wanting to see the difference in these light set ups. I am on my first grow and using a King LED 1500w (285w actual draw). Growing a white widow auto flower, she is on day 15 of flower today.

looking good so far, i checked out the king led when i was looking into my LED light. Idk why i went with the morsen ( probably reviews-knowing me). Keep us updated

to be honest bro i didnt see much of a difference in veg, but once i flipped to flower i did notice the differences . Cmh plant has a stronger thicker stalk. Nodes are alot tighter on the cmh and the individual branches all are way thicker than the led. Overall girth of the plant is better.

LED plant to me doesnt look bad in my opinion either. Just doesnt seem to have that vibrant alive look like the cmh does. But only time will tell y’all over the next couples weeks we will see

IMHO people like to overkill container size for many strains, needing fed more often is good IMO. Right now I have a purple chem in a 1 gal container in coco & perlite under HLG Rspec LED's. Last run I got about 2.75oz per plant in 3 gal containers filled maybe 75% full from this same strain but using different nutes & not grown under LED's for the whole run, just half the time did they get the Rspec LED's. Anyhow this run in just a 1 gal container there is no way I will not hit 3 oz & I am not using a bloom ratio/formula. This plant needs 2 feedings per day most days & its easily going to match or surpass what I pulled out of like 2.5 gallons of coco last time. healthy roots is all it takes! This plant is at 35 days or 5 weeks from flip. Running 3-1-4 on my nutes, No calmag, plenty of silica, & plenty of microbes & a zyme!

Roots organic original for the soil, and emerald harvest for my base nutrients. But i didnt give nutrients for the first 15 days of veg and Only hit them with recharge every 2 waterings And after transplant i didnt feed them base nutrients either. They barely got bloom a and b at the end of week 2 of flower. King kola for my pk boost everything at half strength feedings though since I’m in soil
