i have the glass in my hood so they can get fairly close but these one shot up a bit tall this time.theyre good though no heat damage or anything yet.its been cols here im lucky id i hit 75 in the tent most days is 72 or so right now

We had an ice storm Friday night and the power went out half a dozen times between Friday and Saturday.IMy ballast didnt like it and went kaput.I spent half the day looking for one Saturday and wound up with this one

This one that croaked I really liked.It had built in digital timing plus it had adjustable wattage.They stopped making these so replacing it wont happen.......

Get it fixed, most electronic geeks will be able to fix your ballast, and with modern parts. Some cola on the dead heads. And I'm a big fan of adjustable ballasts, more so with my small grow, I can grow from seed to flower with the same ballast and plants in situ, and only have to swap out the bulbs, simplicity in it's rawest form, love it. Glad I'm not the only ballast head still going.

I wish they still made them ,the built in digital timer is what sold me when I bought it..There was also a remote programmer for them but I never bought one cause the built in timer suited me fine.

Sure i get it. I replaced my galaxy grow amps while they worked fine. But ran for 5 years every day. They may go into a basement tent grow i am considering adding.
