Thought I would post this for people not subscribed to their newsletter. My only affiliation with them is they routinely take my paychecks.

I have 3 HLG fixtures, 2 260xl kits & a 320xl set up that I got the heatsink & 3 boards from hlg but sourced the other parts elsewhere. I love the hlg lights but I will only do strip builds now, the coverage with strips is 2nd to none & there are strips out there now that are smashing hlg's rspec boards efficiency with the same basic kelvin temperature too. You can do a DIY 4 bar with 8 2' strip build, 320 watts, for $400-$410 and the strips use 96 samsung lm316c 3000k diodes & 4 cree photo reds for a total of 800 diodes (32 red & 768 white). & the efficiency at 40 watts per strip is 2.70 umols/j with lab results to prove it, even sphere tests.. that is killing it! They can't keep those strips in stock either!
