There are a ton of what I cal urban canni-legends, such as keeping your plant thirsty to increase potency, flushing, harvesting during full moon, etc. Everyone seems to have a way to affect their grows that they have "heard"about somewhere along the line... What are some of your's?

Damn I wish I had one everyone doesn't know. I would go by plant water runoff and swear by its humidifying effects. After I water my plants, the humidity goes up by like 20 percent not exactly sure. Well my trick is using water in a small tent I suppose. No need for a humidifier.

If I gave away any grow secrets I would not have the freedom to operate with a clear mind in my network of growers>ie."the BB collective"
although they have no knowledge of these forums

There are just so many to choose from... splitting the stem, no food, turn out lights. I think a lot came from Cheech and Chong movies, but when I started growing, there was no info available other than the newly released Ed Rosenthal book. It was great but also had some unreliable info.

Boil the roots is one of my all-time faves, soon to be replaced by defoliation (let's not go there!🤐)

flushing, not feeding nutes last week..etc,
taste and too increase potency all comes with curing slowly!! that’s why nothing is as good as it was before 1988.
too make real hash, the hash has to be stored, sealed and at a temperature for up two years!
weed takes 2-6 months to cure properly.

Try aloe vera gel as a rooting hormone. Im using it not to dip the stems but to add to the water my clones rest in. I wonder if it will help. idk

probably. I cant get my hands on it at any store. Since I have the aloe vera plant and some 70% left I suppose I should lol

Does anyone remember the Isomerizers from the 70s? They were always in High Times with the Phototron, the aquarium greenhouse that promised tons of buds. The Iso machines supposedly transformed garbage into top notch smoke. Snake oil!
