Shashamane sativa from central Ethiopia has a striking resemblance to Jamaica's Lamb's Bread strain which was popular during the 80's. Did the Rastafarians from Jamaica who relocated in Ethiopia played a role?

Other way around! 🙂

Cannabis was brought to Jamaica by imported labor, likely from western India, after the country abolished slavery. Ganja is an indian term for cannabis that's to be smoked like flower, as opposed to being turned into charas.

I have been told that Lambs bread was brought to the pinnacle by early Rastas from the Highlands of Ethiopia and were planted there by Leonard Howell.
