5 plants or 9 plants on 1000hps on DWC

Okay guys I have been messing around a little topping and lollipopping my plants before send to bloom.. Right now I have 2 set of 9 5gal buckets each under its on 1000hps light and a 1000 led between the set just to be extra.. My over all goal is quantity however my last batch was all over the place.. I had 3 strands going and the girl scoit cookies flooded the area with its heighth then buds fell over on top of others ect... Since then i habe gotte. Rid pf girl Scout cookies due to how differently it gre than others.. My question is will I still get the quantity 2-3lbs if i simplify it and went to 5 plants I veg for 4 weeks after cloning roots apx 20inches when I switch to bloom.. Also if i go 5 plants should I continue to lollipop like I am and top or just let them from in the space I attched what my mew 9 plant area looks the way I top amd lollipop.. They are currently in week 5 of bloom

Looks like you grow your plants pretty big in my opinion i would go with 5 in the space .

Hey hydro , when you say cloning roots at 20 inches , do you mean that your next grow will be shorter , and less veg time than the pictured grow ? If you are going to grow shorter plants , although height cannot always be determined once stretch begins ,, if you are not growing stretchy plants , then i thik you should go for the 9 plants , veg em and top or train for more budsites and forget the lollipop style , i cant stand extreme defoliation and lollipop , but thats just me
Others might disagree...
Personal preference...

Also its hard to predict yield , yea you can hope for the gram a watt goal , but so many othet factors come into play , anyway you have a lot of light there so i would be confident with 18 plants .....

Also ,whats the issue with what you got going now ? It looks pretty nice , is it just a predicted yield you are concerned about ?

Allso , seems like you have a lot of leaf around , which i like , dosent really seem loke lollipop as ive seen others do ....good for you..

Well my main concern honestly came from my last batch a had a cpl plant pull maybe a oz beacuse they were starved from light. Which was mainly because of the gsc strand over growing everything. I do not lolipop like many more trim the main bottom branches that look like they wont grow much or be shaded from the top.. I had a lot of people jump pn me for running 9 saying it was to much so made me start thinking. I ment once the plants get to 20" I send to harvest.. Clones are taken from healthy mother plants

Next batch is same size and they are ready to go all at 18-20" now
