Should be fun for another week or three
What is that contraption you have for your lights.....looks like a "chandelier " of lights
haha yes, grabbed a couple of 7-1 light holders off amazon which are usually used for photography lighting, approx $8ea + $1 per globe
That's pretty cool for cheap lights! Do you recall the harvest weight?I bought 2 full spec high lumens spot lights to prove to someone that with these 2 $25 dollar lights i could at least grow a small auto dwarf, you can buy clamps for the spots for 10 bucks that is what i use for sidelight, anyway this is final results.
Right on!!! Never seen those, I dig it!

Would be really interesting if there were a way to compare this approach vs. $80 Amazon light. If you get really bored in the future maybe you can do it again and compare? HAHA!!
Lumens are the key to the small bulbs. That and popping off the domes.

Dried weight??? I get what you're doing....but at this efficiency, you may as well shop at a dispensary 2-3 months for 7-14 grams sound right???
I made myself a 60w light bar from 5x walmart 2' blurple bars (12w) mounted to some wood from kids broken bunk bed I'd recently dismantled and given chains to hang by lol might try to fit one more for 72w. Figured itd work good for the small stuffs, and currently has some peppers just startin to take off under it right now, and some lettuce trying to pop i just stuck in soil today. was fun little project lol
These are in walmart, in my store theyre just past the normal bulbs toward the end of isle theres fluorescents and led light bars, one of those bars happens to be a blurple 12w, for i think it was $13. They grew my current 5 plants into early veg before putting in 6x 40w t12 tubes instead, until just this week i got my new viparspectra light so those cheaper ones are strictly used for seedling babies now but could probably grow 1-2 small autos sidebyside underneath if i kept them like 4" away lol (which i might try with a seed or two when my order comes )Nice, how you find them ?
I'm thinking I'm going to chuck in any cheap ass LED I find and see what I can grow, this is a prototype test bed for a future dedicated grow room
