Hi! I would be grateful if someone give me an advice. I've got four autoflowers 58 days old (since germination)
Strain: "cream caramel auto" from sweet seeds.
It's not my 1st grow but I've never see such a slow transmission before especially in comparison to other strains.
I've a concerns maybe producer occasionally put regular seeds into the autoflower package and I need to switch on 12/12 or it's normal situation and I just have to wait. Look at the photos.

Get some PVC plastic cover your space im sure you will have exactly the same issues with light leaks even with auto flower they can still herm?

Even with autos I flip to 16 hours light and 8 hours dark. Gives the petiols or whatever those pores are called time to rest. I may be wrong since autos are not photoperiod but I believe some dark time helps them jump into flower quicker compared to 24 hours light. So that’s my opinion

Damn man.....those nodes are TIGHT! your girls clearly aren't lacking light 😎

Cheers!

Everyone needs to sleep including plants

They actually look quite dwarfed. Somthing is wrong. I had a grow like that once with real squat plants and kind of a twisting growth pattern. Not ideal the harvest was super lame too. Hopefully that’s not the case with your girls. Looking back I should have scrapped them 1 month in and started over. What caused it for me I believe was heat stress and co2 overload.

no they sleep even under 24/0. This is extremely unlikely to herm for them. (it may happen because of stress not because of light issues) Why don't you like autos?
p.s I use 20/4. I've been thinking about growing regular, maybe next time!

My light schedule is 20/4.

I've got optimal conditions
I use mars hydro 3000 led. maybe too much light but I keep distance, there is no signs of light or heart stress, other strains feel perfect.

Mates my question was - is there a way to determine whether I have stuck autos (maybe it's just a bad genetics) or I've a regular and should switch to 12/12!

Ive always been curious why autoflower? why not take the time to grow regular seeds?
Believe it or not everone want top shelf. My sister in law only buy's the $5g autoflower at the dispensary. She needs the high cbd content. What I don't understand is why anyone would grow them indoors.

I'd try 12-12. What do you got to lose.

Auto flowers supposedly flower faster but I’ve also encountered slow autos which pissed me off. They’re easy to grow and some yield good that’s why people grow them. They’re not that bad honestly some may be better than others. Zkittles auto I got 3 oz dry flowers off one small plant so that’s good for indoor imo. I’ve grown a few auto and don’t regret it one bit

I din't switch light schedule before because I've got many auto plants in my growtent. didn't want to decrease light intensity.
Will do it tomorrow! I'll update post and tell about result after one week.

this is the ruderalis genetics. They grow dwarfed and bushy, depending on the percentage of ruderalis in the cross.
