I hope the thread title says it all! 4’x3’x72” Opulent tent is paid for. I have $1000 I’m comfortable with spending to outfit it with everything I need for the whole process. I will go over if completely necessary. I like to do things the right way, I don’t want to half ass this but also don’t want to go professional haha. Any recommendations for list of supplies with brands in my price range?! Thank you!!!

Well made video...would still like question answered. Thanks!
what are the needs for your setup? do you need an air scrubber? if so get your air system on lock and all the odds and ends and use the leftover to get you some nice light/s. @jaguarlax posted these in a different post https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/High-Quality-Diy-Kit-HLG-Samsung_62079112903.html?bypass=true so im getting ready to order a few. ordered another opulent tent myself to put them in. actually returned a different brand to get a 2nd opulent cause i was so pleased with the quality.

My needs are purely based off of research. No personal experience. So basically I’m looking for lights, fans, soils, additives, filters, water purifiers...etc. I have a few possibilities on some of these items but would really love a complete list. Honestly, I’m so green to this that I don’t know what an air scrubber is

Btw I have put a decent amount of time into watching videos and reading

This is where I would start. There are numerous threads that go into depth on the lights out there. The rest of it is going to come down to what part of the world you grow in (environment) and availability of products. We do this dance at least once a week here, all you have do do is look in some of the other threads.

I get that. But what are your needs? does your air setup need a charcoal filter? what kind of grow are you wanting to do soil or hydro? what supplies will you need for that? Those are the 2 big things i think to start with. Then the left over is going to be your lights

Basically im soil but i go outside. but your breakdown is going to be

Pots - so what size are you looking to do to fit in your space?
Soil - what medium are you wanting to use and what will you need for that medium throughout the grow, nutrients etc. treatments and nutrients can get expensive quick the 'more, better, good' you want to go.
Inline fan (with or without charcoal filter for smell?) you can go filtered air in and out. so its choice of 1 or 2. Based off your wants/needs. Will you want to go 4"/6"/8" id say for that size you want smaller. Like a 4" but i personally feel 6" fans are better quality and burn out less when used with charcoal filters. Going off the replacements sold at my grow shop gossip.
Lights do you want to go straight to the top quantum? I mean you could make this the pinnacle of your budget and sacrifice else where which tends to be the best school of thought.
temp/humidity gauge This is simple. same as the rest
ppm meter
PH meter
regular fan
odds and ends, hangers, zip ties, misc tools. youd be surprised how much small stuff you either think you need or end up actually needing at some point. but most of it is really simple stuff one can find around their home.

Then from there with various methods you could need even more gadgets, gizmos, doodads with the odds and ends.

fans 1 set is about 130ish double if you want 2
lights sky can be the limit
Nutrients again you can easily blow 0 not that i think its necessary to buy gallons of every product. but one can definitely find great value in various products on the market. same when you add insecticide and fungicide's.

figure for that size lights about 0 0 for air is a good metric. That size tent id just get something like this for air https://www.amazon.com/iPower-Inline-Variable-Controller-Ventilation/dp/B07D8QLSBY/ i say the 6" model cause i feel like these burn out less when using a scrubber based on grow shop gossip. those lights i sent its about $260 shipped for 2 so im not sure what you want to go with. So i figure thats good guess for a range.

Thank you. I’ve been a member in several mushroom cultivation forums over the years so I completely understand.

If I had a 72" high tent, with a $1000 budget, id go with a Cloudline T6 exhaust fan and filter, the 240w kingbrite lights, 5gallon fabric pots, would probably grow 4 plants in scrog. In some Foxfarm Ocean Floor or Happy Frog. Nutes i also use foxfarm, some Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom
You'll have plenty of money left over for all the other odds and ends like ppm and ph meters and such and some.

Bro I’m a little fucked up right now(it’s late where I’m at) but what I just read is fucking awesome. I’ll comb through that again and 100% ask you some questions tomorrow if that’s alright. Thanks again, that’s an awesome start to my final solution

Where are you putting the tent and do you have the ability to control the environment of that room. Both temp and humidity.

Are you trying to hide the odor from neighbor's? If you can vent outside you won't need a carbon filter.

Biggest bucks go to the lights. I like quantum boards and about 350-400watts would be ideal for a 2x3.

I agree with the cloudline t6 while you may get away with the 4" it's better to run the 6 inch lower than to run the 4" maxed for both extended life and much lower noise. Going with the T6 over the S6 allows you to use setpoints for humidity and temp that the fans will automatically kick on and off helping to keep your grow parameters stable and optimal.

You want to be able to control the humidity of the room that the tent is in. A humidifier in a tent is asking for trouble and all the humid air is just getting sucked out. So a humidifier in the room the tents sits in is ideal. Now you don't want something like this in you bedroom or living room because of this. Unless you enjoy sitting in 50-60% humidity.

Ph and ppm meter are good idea especially if you are new to growing.

Is 50-60 percent supposed to be uncomfortable? LOL I moved up north from Miami and I consider it a treat.
