How much should I raise it I got it at 23" rn an the manufacturer of the led says 18-24 for seedlings

I would raise it up. I wouldn't go more than 18-24" on a plant well into veg. If it wasn't blurple I had a way you could measure the intensity for free but it's not reliable with those

The old hand gauge ... if you hand is getting to hot raise up the light ...

Alright so update on the plants after moving light up to 36" it got hella worse
I thought maybe transplanting it would help it and I could see if I was overwatering it and sure as shit.. the roots were like a grey color an not looking good at all. I'm gonna let them dry up majorly before I water again does anyone have any suggestions? Please help lol

Weigh the pot with moist almost dry mix. Water to runoff and weigh again. Now you know when to water.

I didnt see any bugs in it. I think them being in starter pots and being in soil I was watering like every other day like I was doing with my ones in coco coir and it was killing em maybe? I mean I wasnt like drowning them in water jus spraying the top for like 5 seconds to keep it moist. I jus transplanted them yesterday to 5 gal fabric pots and I'm gonna let em dry for a few days and jus spray further away from the plant so the roots can search some
