They have confiscated computers and busted folks for many years without warrant. They only have to make up probable cause.

We are all guilty until proven innocent at our own cost.

Got to keep our completely unconstitutional police/ lawyer/ court/ prison system profitable. ;-)

profitable, lol, not here in the US.
Every police department around here is broke as a joke.
First place the greedy politicians cut is public safety there #1 responsibility.
Oh but wait, we sure got some real nice parks and recs.
And don’t forget that metro thing with light rail, oh and bike paths those are super important for the construction worker and his 40 foot ladder he’s got to get to a job site.

Its not for the cops. They are the cheap labor. Its the jail owners getting rich off “crime”.

And cops were never for public safety. They are promoted according to arrest records. Not convictions.

To protect and serve is their business slogan.

It should say just bust the mother fucker and let the courts weed out the innocent.

Or. “Not our problem”. Lol

True.. but it's like they say - "it's not about what you know.. it's about what you can prove.."
For the ppl who have much more to lose than jus a few plants or being exposed on crazy donkey show porn sites - jus wanted to let them have a heads up and possibly find a way to have an extra step ahead of the game.

I'd add that jails are full of poor people either convicted or waiting for trial unable to afford bail. They can pick you up for an alleged offense throw you in jail until you can afford to get a lawyer to get you out. That doesn't apply to the wealthy, the police talk to the wealthy 's lawyers and make appointment to discuss the alleged offense. unbalanced scales in the courts favor.

Absolutely. And the government pays for every “customer” jailed every day. Just have to keep the “inventory” stocked up. No money for empty cells.

Shheeiiittttt... I know of a VERY small town with records showing that over 5 milli is available and is being spent on for the PD.. 90% of the officers have either jus retired or got promoted to a different department - so they jus brought in a whole new young squad that's on their 'Super RoboCop' tip.. splurging on new marked and unmarked cars, firearms, vests, drones, electronic shit, and all that! But here is the part that's gonna blow your mind - the town has a population of a little over 5000 people!! 😳🤯

TBH if you're doing this from an illegal state, I'd highly recommend only accessing cannabis sites from a linux usb boot session behind a VPN, firewall, and an onion router.

Also remember @Oeck for VPN's. Their tech seems more advanced than either Nord or Express from what I remember.

I'd also anticipate the US trying to get VPN history and user data from providers, so don't pay for that VPN with anything linked to you. Like, say, a cell phone with a sim card registered to your name and address in it.

Nord....check their history and the most recent shit. I wouldnt even think about using a VPN the dumped thousands and thousands of dollars into advertising with Google and Youtube.

If you choose to use a VPN know whats what about them and how to properly use them on all fronts. Forget that shit on a cell phone or using wifi. Learn about 5 eyes, 9 eyes, and 14 eyes treaties. Even that is a stretch. "We don't use logs!" How do you know they aren't actually logging you and havent told you or are paid to? Using a VPN wont do shit for you if you just dl some software from the company and go to town like you have free reign now. Hell I wouldn't even bother if using a windows machine or think about using an account that previously didn't use one at any point. You are trying to hide from data mining on a large scale you prob cant even fathom. We wont even get into the encryption side of it or which one they are using cause that's an even bigger rabbit hole. You would never do this from any location you frequent in the first place specially not your own interwebs.

If it makes you feel safe go for it. Can it be an extra layer of protection? Sure. Is it going to actually protect you? Truly doubtful. They are going to care at this point for stuff like these sites unless you are rocking 200+ lighters or the equivalent.

Do you want to feel better. In Denver proper it's estimated that out of all the grow warehouse a little under 50% are still total black market. They don't even have enough people to enforce that in 1 city and the MED (marijuana enforcement division) is a pretty big outfit.

NordVPN is definitely laughable. As with anything that might get you involved with law enforcement, just do your best to keep yourself safe and not be low hanging fruit. Positive vibes...
