Does unused soil from a bag need air in storage inside?

If I buy a 50L bag of biobizz light soil mix but I only use like 1/4 of the bag would it be ok to store the unused soil in the bag in a rubbermaid tub that is then closed for like 6-8 months? Does it need fresh air? Would it possibly get mold or anything like that if you leave it in the closed tub for that long on there?

if it was me get a brute force trash can or a well made one and put all the soil/medium in a bag and and seal The bag with a tie like a zip tie or green wire. i reuse my coco and have tons of it. Never had problems and it can even stay outdoors

Yup, I use Rubbermaid for my Happy Frog, stirring once every 48 hours. Can literally see the beneficial fungi grow/spread.

Thanks. I have a big rubbermaid tub I plan to put it in. I would likely not take the unused soil out of the bag. I would likely tape it up and put it in a rubbermaid tub that I would likely only open 1 time every like 2 months on there.

Sounds good. Are there beneficial microbes in it? Not familiar with that soil. If so, I'd agitate it somewhat often to help growth. It will work better than it ever has before lol
