My grow so far. Worried about my plants and about humidity.

It is only day 8 but there are some major difference in size between the plants. I am growing three in soil and three in water. I am growing with a single Viraspectra 300w burple and and will be either adding another 300w light or I'll be getting the Mars TS600w to add. My humidity, without the bowls of water and wet towels, stays around 50-55% but lately I have managed to get it 57%-60%. The largest one is the bucket already with the other two hydroponic grows are still in a small container. I'm waiting for the roots to start poking out the bottom before putting them in the bucket.

Interesting set up here. I'm commenting because I'm not familiar with it and I'd like to see what these folks with more experience say. All the same seeds? Also, is this the only light you have for now? I'm just wondering if they aren't getting enough light?

I'm new to the whole growing thing like you are. Not all the same seed. I am growing MI5 and La Berry Fruita from New420Guy. Yes that is the only light I have. I'm not sure if that are lacking light or not but they aren't stretching, So I guess that is a good thing.

No, they don't appear to be stretching. However, how many different lights can a sunray contain? I see only purple for now, right? However, if that is a constraint, you are right to include another.

I’m no hydro grower but they all look super saturated. For the soil, no sure what you’re growing in but it’s always good to add 20-30% perlite for drainage and proper oxygen to the roots. They look good for the amount of light you have. I’d let the medium dry out completely before watering again so you allow the roots to grow and search for the water at the bottom of the pot. It’s okay if they stretch a bit now because when you up pot you will bury some of that stem. Airflow is key, so get a couple fans moving air around in the tent. Happy grows.

Thank you. I'm growing in Coco/Wormcastings. my tent is a 32x32x64. Would a couple of axial fans like on this - https://www.acinfinity.com/componen...c-cooling-fan-120mm-x-120mm-x-38mm-low-speed/ - work for moving air around or should I go for a small fan?
