So this is my first time growing. I am using a 2x4x7 foot Gorilla Grow Tent. I am growing Parfait for my first time and am keeping temp 75-84 and humidity around 55. I have 5 seeds and 2 really are off to a good start. I am on day 15 in the grow stage. I am using rockwool 1.5 inch cubes and soaked them in a ph of 5.5 before placing the seeds in. I water at a ph of 5.8-6 every night when they cubes feel somewhat light. I use pH up n down and the general hydroponic 3 solution (Grow, micro,flower). I have only feed once very light around 190ppm. I have pictures of everything, below but am unsure if i am watering too much or how many times should i feed.

I would just like some advice on if the plants look healthy and any tips on how to maximize my yield. Any help would be appreciated, thanks and stay safe in these crazy times.

Great to see you got a journal going. Do you have any idea what you plan to transplant into as a media? Soil, rockwool coco etc?

4 inch rockwool blocks. Just not sure how they are looking now and when to feed/how much too

I'm fairly confident you will need to water up to 5-6 times a day in flower for rockwool. I'll tag some I think have experience and maybe they can help ya with it.

@Dirtbag
@chemistry
@cemchris

I think have grown in RW. I missed a ton so no offense to ppl I missed. It's hard to keep track of for me. My memory can be the shits at times

Okay thank you. Yeah right now I water every night when they feel light, not sure why some plants are fully developing leaves and some arent! Thanks for tags, ill see if they can help

Do you think my plants are getting enough light? And would increasing the light lead to higher yields?
And for feeding do you think I should feed, water, feed, water?

Sorry just want to make sure my plants are getting enough light

Just got specific pictures of the lights. Please let me know if you think this is enough to get a big yield or should I get another one.

Just feed 150/200 ppm's of veg nuits, and don't let the cubes dry out, rockwool is not soil or coco, it's main function as a grow medium is to be porous, there is nothing for your plant in rockwool, only what you put on it. I would up pot the seedlings to give them some were for the roots to grow into, and keep moisture round them.

I to am doing my first indoor grow.
I have just put the clones into clay balls as im trying dwc.
Im still getting my head around feeds and ppm etc.
So its good to hear supportive advise from those that know. Sll in all good luck.👍

Start a grow diary, you'll be surprised what you can learn, and folk can spot problems that you might miss, I only update my diary once a week, but you can go wild if you want to. 👍

Hi I used to use rook wool back in 90s we used the cubes like you have then drop into the 4 “ then we cut our own rock wool slabs stacked into a Aztec pyramid, dripper feed 4 times as chemistry stated , ppm nothing over 250 In veg I left my drippers run 24/7 on one crop and it was outstanding compared to 4 or 5 times a day , crop set up on sun tuff roofing on a slight tilt drain back into the feed tank ,changed feed tank 3 times a week which kept the ph in check adjusted it with ph up &down if needed for , only thing that turned me off of the wool was getting rid of the used wool . Regards Od

Getting rid of the wool was the reason I moved over to the biodegradable root riot cubes, I tried to compost the wool, but it just stayed there in the compost.

Thanks for the help everyone, love to learn new shit. Any recommendations on a good drip irrigation system I can look into?
and would u recommend cutting up 1.5inch rockwool cubes and placing them in the cup with the plants?
I have feed twice so far below 250 ppm and they seem to like it.
And for feeding in the grow would u recommend feeding everyday or every other? also this might have been answered but 5/6 plants is okay in a 2x4x7 foot with that light?

Your grow space is nearly the same size as my current space, mine is 3 wide, 8 high by 5 long. I can just squeeze 6 medium plants in, but if you pick up a mould with six in a tightly packed space, then your going to struggle to shift it, same with bugs, you need room to work on them.

okay I’ll def stick to 5/6 medium plants. Is there a way I could plant more seeds and keep they low to produce a high yield / vice versa?

Just an update on the ladies, unsure if I should put them in a red solo surrounded by cut up pieces.

One of the plants stems broke completely overnight when I was sleeping, but three still look very good. Some still have a yellowish dots and one of the end of leaves on one plant (2nd PIC) has leaves that seem to be starting to shrivel up. Could this be a feed problem or watering? And should I give up on the broken stem or is it fixable?

Also is it okay if they plants stems are curving a lil?
