That's why I kept the water acid, it balanced out mostly.
No it didn't. That water is almost the same as RO or distilled. You cannot very accurately measure the ph of either with our ph meters. The water is extremely unstable and will extremely easily and quickly change to the ph of whatever it's added to. It has no ability to change the ph

To boot acids in soil break down very quickly and are not a good way to control the ph of soil. If you want to lower the ph something like peat moss should be used. To raise DE or any Carbonate, bicarbonate source like calcium carbonate.

I did do a run off test on each to give an idea.

You can also use iron to lower ph in soil .

Why would you want to raise DE? Its alkaline as is. 🤔

I can't see any reason to amend a soil that is already buffered. Unless you are trying to correct something but that's a different story

That's what I'm saying your promix has I believe dolomite lime already in it. Why would you want to raise it with DE. I was just giving examples of how to adjust ph in soil... It's not with the use of acids. A properly built soil should not need the feed ph adjusted. If it does it's a nutrient or source water issue. The only time would be if adding silica to prevent precipitate

Does it? not even sure of that, thought I remember reading of people adding dolomite to Promix, but it wasn't my intent.

Yeah, limestone.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Sphagnum peat moss (75-85%)
  • Perlite.
  • Vermiculite.
  • Limestone.
  • Wetting agent.
Yeah. I would pull what you can of the DE out and give em a feed. Make sure they get a good wet dry cycle and they should start to pick up in a few days

Watered for first time since this (I usually water about every 3rd day as needed) on 06-05 with water & 2 ml of Dyna-Gro Foliage-Pro 9-3-6 per gal.
Used mostly one gl & part of a second.
Water (pre/post Foliage-Pro) gal #1 pH 4.7/4.4 PPM 13.6/167 gal #2 (only used for half of the water of LSD #2 pH 4.6/4.3 PPM 19.9/180

Run off tests per plant:

LSD #1 pH 6.5 PPM 222
LSD #2 pH 6.6 PPM 198
LSD #3 pH 6.5 PPM 216
LSD #4 pH 6.6 PPM 218

Gelato #1 pH 6.4 PPM 289
Gelato #2 pH 6.4 PPM 245

I will likely get another watering in b/f my weekly diary update, will post pics then, it might be wishful thinking but they seemed to show improvement shortly after this watering. 👍

Third feed today, a still a little droopy from it but showing good return to color, trimmed off some of toasted bottom foliage.
roots are now coming out of the drainage hole on all plants, good healthy ones very pleased with this as they were vertically rootless at transplant.

As of today's watering my run off pH has been 5.1, 5.4, 5.8, 5.2, 5.6, 5.8 so a little low on about half, thinking of going half/half with Berkey/tap water to bring the pH up a bit soon, good idea? added 1 ml of Pro-tekt to 3ml Foliage Pro for the first time this time average PPM is 324 on this round.
The way things are going I think I'm going to final up pot to 5 gal sacks in a week or so most to the plants are reaching the diameter of the 2l pots.
