might be a little bit of insect damage on one of the 3 tip leaves, hard to see. look into some preventative insect foliar sprays if you notice anything more đź‘Ť

Thanks yo. Didn't even notice that, probably make some homemade oils soon.

This thread will most likely become my journal, will try to post updates as it continues.

A little dry may be?

Maybe...It's been 2 days since the last watering/transplant. Still fairly moist but I didn't want to go too heavy because they are still young

I'm really afraid of overwatering since it's my first go around.

They're in 10g smart pots. (All I had)

It's supposed to rain a bit tonight. Might let it water itself that way?

Also considering adding worm castings, epsom, molasses for dry amendments soon. Any thoughts on that. Too early?

Whelp. One of my plants damped off after I watered today, not even alot, I think it was weak to begin with. :/

Other ones are going strong. It's been really windy lately, causing one of the plants to turn purple on the leaves.

Can anyone with experience tell me if it's it too early to supplement with nitrogen? I want them to grow as big as possible, but don't want to overfeed.

soil looks dry.. if you got those plants in pots that drain well, don't be afraid to soak the soil if the pot is feeling light and wait till you see some water drain out the bottom. don't do it if your pot is way bigger then the plant size. just water heavy in a circle around the plant and judge for weight and plant looks an hour later and the next morning. if in the ground with good draining substrate, send it. if you watered yesterday and it was hot outside, all that water you put in has evaporated as it may not have been enough. in my opinion, if my plant is all sad and droppy after a watering, thats good. then i wait until the next time it looks a little sad in a couple days or even a week and pot is light again. soak soil. repeat

Thanks Tee. Looking much better after good watering.

Is it late to transplant into a smaller container? These are 10g fabric pots. Way too big for the size of the plant.

I would not transplant. Her roots are established and you would be amazed how deep they are already. You got this.

Plus fabric is hard to transplant as the roots attach to the cloth. Best to use fabric as your final. But don't sweat it at this point. Sure you have warm days ahead and even if you mess up it won't be the same as over watering in March (where it will stay wet for 3 weeks).
