E$kobar's cultivars were the shit. I always say it, but I miss the old days. I would be very interested in looking through some of Santero's work. Positive vibes...

I dont know about actual garden of jack herrer but jack herrer is a sensei seed strain simply named after him.

They have ed rosenthal super bud too.
I can't tell you more about the origin of that parent, other than where Prof P said he got it.

Since there must be at least half a dozen breeders who worked that strain themselves, it seems important to people now to know who reworked it — as in Sannie's Jack vs. a JH from somewhere else.

I have no interest in debating the origins of any famous strain. I rely on online sources for that. But if I get seeds from a breeder who tells me what he did to make it, I'll report it.

No, he was a Belgian seed breeder who quit the biz.

His big thing was scent and taste, so whatever strain you grew, you knew it would have an intoxicating scent — even if the strain itself did not ring your bell.

Yesterday I tried a pre-cure taste of the early, well-behaved pheno of Miss U Jack. (By well-behaved, I mean it was somewhat short, not stretchy, and produced nice, fat colas. The others are tall, stretchy, and will not yield as much.) Holy shit, it is definitely among the most potent plants I've smoked.

That's the one, officer! That's the one what fucked me up!

She spent her life near the middle of the tent and was kind of out-of-reach, most of the time. I noticed the leaves in her colas were dying, and I started worrying about bud rot. No bud rot, but then I noticed she had a good number of amber trichs. (From soil to top, she is about 3 feet tall here. Legginess is from the long veg and my trimming habits.)

I'm guessing this pheno takes after the Jack Herer mom, since I know Miss Universe is a taller, stretchier plant. The other three plants are Miss U phenos, and I have no idea how they smoke yet. I'll take some pics this weekend, and likely chop one of them.

Whatever the case, I am trying to contact Dynasty and try to convince them to come out with these freebies again. If this is my only keeper from this grow, the grow was a stunning success.

A Pineapple Fields pheno C got the axe yesterday. Pheno C is the pineapple candy-smelling pheno. Now that I've grown this strain twice and have seen all the phenos, I realize this was the pheno that captured my heart or brain, last time I grew her. I didn't even get phenos A or B in that grow.

This one is not a big yielding plant, but she wouldn't be worse than average if grown in a more suitable way — like a SCROG or LST.

A few assorted buds — Sorry for the iPhone quality pics.

The bud structure on this plant is quite nice. Another pheno C I have has somewhat more airy buds, but she produces a hell of a lot more. She'll be coming down sometime this week, from the look of her.

And what's this? The same plant? No, it's a Miss U Jack. Using my powers of extra sensory perception, I'm going to guess this is the general structure of Miss Universe — a strain I've never grown out, but have grown out a few strains that have a male Miss U as a parent.

The buds also look kind of familiar. They don't smell familiar, though. This one has some lemon and other scents I have not sat down to figure out yet.

I have officially left my recent low on weed status and have entered the I have too many plants to trim at once status. Definitely an improvement.

I'll ask him, next chance I get.

Will I be going against the TOS here if I mention a seed vendor? I recently saw he had something available on a well-known seed seller's site.
ask him if he has eskobars boudica (the smell is so strange like a perfume) my sons friends bo crazy over it
