Grow 1 - Squirt & Purple Mountain Majesty - HSC Beans

This is day 4 including germination. I used the normal paper towel method to germinate. 48 hours and 100% popped. And straight into a soil mix they went :) Today is their first day outside. However they are 100% shaded from direct sunlight. Just don't want to push my luck. It's hot out here.

A couple of side notes. The Squirt seeds are fems. The Purple Mountain Majesty are just the normal 20 pack. I'm hoping for a male out of the PMM so that I can pollinate one of the Squirts to make Purple Squirt lol :D I mean wtf why not...

For some reason after all these years I still hold my breath on seedlings and clones. However... HSC did NOT disappoint. 100% germination on 2 strains. The first 4 seeds germinated in the first 24 hours. One of each took another 24 hours to pop. And here we are on day 5. The seedlings have all shed their hulls and opened up. They are definitely starting off the right way. Couldn't be happier with them.

Thanks :) They are reaching for the moon lol! I wanted to get fem Mango Sherbet and had already picked the Purple Mountain Majesty for the same reason above. I want to cross two crazy predominant indica and make some purple madness. I've always loved blueberry and purple strains. The dispensary I go to carries the HSC line but like 1 of this, 2 of that. So a couple of hours between a phone call and arrival means they can just blip out of the store in the middle. But Squirt was my second choice because of the icky sticky factor and the purple traits and the indica lean. We'll have to see how it goes. I'm crossing my fingers for a male lol :D Purple Pineapple, Purple Widow, Purple Squirt. THAT would be insane if it worked.

Pretty impressed with this week’s growth out of both strains. Transplanted all of them this evening. So veg stage 2 begins. When they root bind these pots they’ll get root maintenance and a trim at the top for any sucker branches errr... clones. Then they go to their final container before the grow bags. Kind of ensures that they are getting fresh soil every two weeks or so. A lot of people don’t like to mess with the roots but I’ve been doing bonsai for a long time and if done correctly it stimulates the root system instead of putting it into shock.

When I was younger I used to always try to grow by the clock. Today I just let them max out at each “stage”. Idk it’s what works for me.

HSC Very Cherry day 48. Your tag says it all. This strain is super terpy. Lemons, peppers, musky, stanky. Highly recommend their genetics.
