UPDATE: GROW-WEEK-6-D59 - G5GW6D4 - Thursday 25 June 2020
Day 59- Since germination
Weekly Target PPM - Now have a full load of enzymes which accounts for about 100-150 ppm.

PH=OK PPM=OK (940-990) Temp=OK
... ppm is a little high, after adding 17 aspirin for the calcium; the ppm's were still just a bit higher than target so i diluted rez by 25% RO to get to current ppm.

I used IR setting on the last three to look for blemishes & defects not visible under the other lights. I didn't find any :-)

I am digging the shit out of the new veg light. It was worth every penny. I keep going back in my journal and comparing them to the same date in the last grow. The difference is amazing.

I have been thinking to put my 315 cmh in the veg tent to supercharge things compared to the t-5’s lately. Or even a quantum board.

@dusty68

Hi:
I was following one of your threads and it was very helpful. It is the thread where your plants grew too close to your light. I'm 3 weeks into flower and they are starting to get close to my lights. I did some last but they keep moving fast. do you think it's ok to trim some fan leaves when I am 3 weeks into flower? If I can do that I think I can do more let and keep them low. I am on my second grow. I think I veged too long.
Thanks for any help or advice. I can post some pics later tonight if that helps.

Yes, especially the lower fan leaves. With regards to them getting too tall; in my first two grows, i ended up using shot fishing weights threaded around pipe cleaners then to the tops at the point i wanted to start them leaning. You will have to constantly adjust the location of the weights to prevent breakage it does work, slowly. If you are reading the thread i think you are reading there should be some links to the stuff i purchased on amazon. If not let me know and I'll send it to you.

Happy Growing 😎 🍻

Thanks so much for the information. I understand how you did it and will give it a try. Hopefully since I changed the nutes they will stop growing up so fast and will focus on the buds.

I also recently found out that using a veg specific light (heavy in the blue wavelength) helps control that spurt. For this grow i purchased a new 4ft Kind LED grow light instead of buying 4-5 new T-5's; damn if they don't look like little Christmas trees with regards to their shape. The only difference between this grow and the last is the light change. It did not stop the stretch but cut it to about one third to half.

Happy Farming 😎
