the leaves will dry first and wrap around the buds, slowing down the dry... the slower the dry the smoother the smoke.

eh?? not really a no-no... it mainly depends on the environment,,, the size of the dry room, amount of buds, moisture content,,, all those things affect the dry and sometimes a fan can be used to help prevent mold, or sometimes folks just use a fan for the first day or two. especially when leaving all those leaves on a fan early on can help dry them out.... more leaves= more moisture content.

there are not a lot of black and white rules to growing... many grey areas!!!

they can in hot weather mate , I’m also water bound with the Derwent river on both side of the area I live so cold moist air is not my friend I’ve got the oil heater in the shed and temp is 22.5 deg c so not to bad in the lungs for my tents . Od .this is temp and rh in tent #2 where there drying .

Thanks @stoneyluv Im very pleased with this run it almost didn’t happen , got my next crop 4 weeks behind this one and have got my next crop in under the 400w Hps for 2 weeks while these are drying then I can re hang light it tent and move the new crop in and away we go again . Od

I'm pretty curious about the genetics of the plant I have in flower. This lady has been beat into the ground. Serious resiliency. Also an interesting thought that it could be an unknown male so maybe nobody else has ever grown it potentially.

Time to brown paper bag it up got my next crops to get into the tent #2 had 10 days hanging with fans on low but we are getting cold wet weather and I can't let my hard work get pm so it up in the warm house for the next stage of drying n curing some head porn if I may

Looking good od , I just tested both of mine that are in flower. No cure just dry. One has a lemon/orange profile while the other is earthy and sweet ;)

Thanks man I know from previous Crops @william76 NL#1 is a racy as fuck smoke it my morning go to hit sets me up for a full on day they had a bit of white pistil still at 11 weeks didn’t want to send them into couch lock I let the SC & GG go a bit further into the couch lock area not fully oh shit I can’t get out please get me a tow truck but a good sleep mode for me . Od .

Thanks man I know from previous Crops @william76 NL#1 is a racy as fuck smoke it my morning go to hit sets me up for a full on day they had a bit of white pistil still at 11 weeks didn’t want to send them into couch lock I let the SC & GG go a bit further into the couch lock area not fully oh shit I can’t get out please get me a tow truck but a good sleep mode for me . Od .

I love couch lock, I depend on MJ to eat/sleep so I'm gonna need to let them get pretty ripe .

May I ask how long you leave the bud in the brown paper bags for ? What's after that, mason jars ?

Be another 7 to 10 days then I’ll manicure the water leaf off and a few smaller leaves then leave for one more week then full manicure into turkey bags for 4 to 7 days then into mason jars . Od .
