Houston, We have a problem. Too much Mag I believe.

The reason i think that is because when i did my feeding of mag. I premixed 100m in 1 lt of RO water and added to the rez. I believe my mistake was that I added it to the corner of the rez. When I looked to see why it might be one plant and not the other i discovered the rootball was between where i was pouring in the mag and other plant. My thoughts are that by pouring in the corner, the solution was trapped in that corner and thus forced excessive up take by the one plant.

I put the mag in at 3am friday morning and this is what plants look like 36 hours later. I did a 25% water change at once.

Does anyone else have any other ideas?

New humidifier arrived and is working perfectly. However my most urgent concern is the overdosing/instability my dumb-ass inflicted upon myself by putting in too much Mag in the wrong place or too much; either way it required a complete empty and refilling of the rez (Thank You @Aquaman & @CosmoGrows for your assistance and advice). That of course meant that i had to reapply all of my nutes; this proved to be very easy, according to my feeding schedule, everything was dosed at 100%. I cleaned up the leaves, trimmed up the dead ends and now we wait. 🍻 🥂 👍

Now to clean-up the rez environment.!

Holy Shit Batman! I may have dodged a bullet from my own gun 🙂

It has now been three days since I F'd up but good! I did a full rez change, etc, etc. I thought i had burnt to shit or killed my plants. However this is where i think genetics took over and saved my ass. The plant on the right that was much shorter but the buds were bigger; had begun to change color very quickly as compared to the left plant which displayed calmag damage but not the massive color change displaed by the other plant.

The only thing that explains the color change is its genetic clock. When i look at the tric's on the right-hand plant i get about a 60%-75% browning; whereas the trics on the left-hand plant are still quite white & clear.

To be honest, I think i just plain ass got lucky. Don't know if my overdose triggered the finish or it was pure luck of timing. I'm going with lady luck. 🥂 🍻

I have placed close-up photos of both; what do you think? I'm thinking chop at the end-of the week (end of week 7) and let the other go to the end of the month or later (which would bee week 12).

New Humidifiers:

I have included the environmental charts for both cabinets for the last 7 days. These were much more expensive than the ones i had been using, however their performance has been spot on. You can actually see where I opened the cabinet or tent to add water, check the plants or take photos; etc.

DDRE is the one that was working just fine until very late on the 2nd. I finally received the replacement and got it in place on the fourth.

It has been ten days since i tried to kill my plants!

One matured early and had to be chopped. It is now hanging in the drying cabinet . Here are the drying environment stats for the week.
1594763742620

I cleaned up the other plant; trimmed off as much brown as i could and cleared out enough leaves to let all of the colas have access to the light. Now that the other plant is gone there is plenty of light coming in from the side facing the missing plant.

we have entered week ten and although the leaves look like shit, the tricomes still look plentiful and clear. The main colas (eight of them) are still putting on weight. So i will continue the run until they turn.

This is mos def NOT my best grow. As much as i reduced my feedings, it still appears that i over-feed, just at a different place in the grow cycle. But that is why we grow, so we can learn from our mistakes.

It will be interesting to see how it smokes. If it is shit, i'll wash it in 99.5, distill it down and put it in pen tips. Waste not, want not.

Moving on... 🥂 🍻

An they say size doesn't matter 😂😂😂 not to our misses but our buds different story 🤣🤣🤣 epic work bro

Does anyone have a clue as to WTF this is?

It is only on one bud and i cut out all affected area (about 4 inches plus an inch on each end to make sure i go it. I have not been able to find it anywhere else. This was on that uber tall main cola that extended 18-20 inches above the rest.

The rest of the plant has about another week or two before chopping.

Thanks in advance for all of the help and advice! 🍻 🥂 😎

Bud Rot, open it up and there will be grey dusty webs inside.

Most likely there is a mould sporn behind every dead leaf you see outside the bud.

Hello All;

I have been a bit under the weather the last couple of weeks, but i am beginning to fell almost human;

I will get caught up on the logs. Grow 5 is going to harvest this week and Grow #6 Candy Cane, just reached the end of 4th week from Seed. I received the Crystal Meth and popped four of them in prep for their new home being vacated by the trainwreck. The seedlings still only have twin bladed leaves. I switched nutes for the growing of the Crystal Meth, I am going with 100% Primordial Solutions line. So far i like the results.

While trimming up the Candy Cane i noticed that i have an issue with one of three plants running in the same rez. My instincts tell me to go with what works best for the other two; however i would like to hear what others think.

First of all what is the issue? The plant on the left is in the same net pot as the one on the right. I am guessing the real issue is genitics. I am also curious as to what is ailing the plant on the left. The paleness of that center vein concerns me.

Thanks in advance. (this is auto candy cane at 4 weeks) 🥂 🍻

Possibly to much calcium or the very beginning of a potassium deficiency
