I wanted to know how you guys feel or what you think about amending coco coir with dry amendments such as worm castings/Glacier rock dust/azomite/humid acid/etc. Would it take too long to break down and become usable?

I have heard and read that biological life can break down the coco so much that it won’t hold nutrients that well later into the grow...

I have also heard that it is beneficial to coco, for example on dude grows‘ grow talks they mention it is okay to do and even okay to mix bottled synthetics with Organic and microbes but that’s another topic for another thread maybe..

I have only added perilite to my coco as I usually alternate between AN A+B feedings and separate recharge feedings on off days. I use mychorizhae when transplanting I just wanted to get your opinions on using maybe all of this and adding the dry amendments? Overkill or beneficial?
Thanks in advance!

No need to double post. Help is on the way.

I like adding worm castings, diatomaceous earth, and mycorrhiza to my Coco. Lighter touch though for sure. I also have my Coco on top of a supersoil, so it's a bit different
