Water for 5 gallon fabric pot

I'm using 1/2 gallon per 5 gallon pot probably twice a week in a Northern CA relatively cool climate with plant treatments as needed. What is your watering like?

just make sure there are no dry pockets, i would think closer to a full gallon would be enough

Just for reference I do indoor soil grows and during flower used 1/2 gal. every other day. 78 F - 50%RH with air circulation.
This was the same for 5 gal fabric and airpots.

I have three of them (5gallon black) taking about 2 gallons/day between them or they wilt. Bright sun, 90’s and added perlite to ocean forest soil, wishing i used vermiculite instead. In the shade its more like twice/week.
