Just a casual thread where I document my gems

As a brief introduction I’ll post up some of my past grows. Started about 4 1/2 years ago.

Early 2016
The plant that started it all. Subtle notes of earthy dankness in flower. No smoke report because I didn’t know how to dry/cure.

Humboldt Seed Organization - Blue Dream Autoflower grown in 3 gal of coco. Went a little over 70 days from seed to harvest.

Fall 2016
Still by far the most pungent weed I’ve ever smelled...straight gas/jet fuel too bad I never even got to try it because I didn’t know how to dry/cure properly at the time

Bag seed of SFV OG from a friend who’s been at it WAY longer than me.

2017
Northern Lights Feminized
This was a freebie from Seedsman. Hardly any smell in flower, but the smoke was smooth with hints of caramel and earthiness. Grown in 5 gallons of Happy Frog. Went 55 days in flower.

Late 2017
Bag seed from some stuff I got labeled as “Fortune Cookies”. Reeked of garlic and skunk in flower. Had a sweeter smell in the jars but I didn’t dry/cure it that well. So dense though!

2018
Another bag seed from that same batch of SFV OG that I mentioned earlier. This one was all kush though...very minor hints of gas. So good though and nice chunky golf ball nugs.

I popped my keeper in 2018 as well. I found it in 2017 in a bag of some Tahoe OG. I can’t verify if it was actually Tahoe or not because it was from a local delivery service but it was some of the dankest OG that guy’s ever carried.

The pictures are out of order but you can still see the progression at least. After this test run I knew she was a keeper The stem rub is really complex, it’s a bit difficult to explain but here it goes...leather, sandalwood, cumin, pepper, and butter. The buds smell like pinesol with some earthy kush on the backend. The taste is not far off from the smell but even more complex.

2019
This is another one of the few that I kick myself for letting go of. I found a few seeds in a bag of some thin mint gsc. The dried/cured buds were fantastic. Smelled a lot like the Animal Cookies cut but the taste was just like graham crackers with some underlying kush.

It’s not all inclusive but I think it’s a good enough introduction. Now it’s time for more shots of my keeper This is under my old DIY fixture using Cree xp-g2 running at 120W.

Some Lazy Lightning from Bodhi Seeds. I popped 4 just for shits n gigs. 4 out of 4 germinated but 1 died as a sprout...I’m pretty sure it was the fungus gnats I was dealing with. Out of the two males I found I kept the 88’g13hp leaning phenotype...the funk is strong with this one! The sole female appears to be roughly a 50/50 hybrid. Stem rub smells like mothballs and that same funky stench the male has.
