Leaves yellowing

2 weeks into flower i cut back on nitrogen and increased phosphate and potash but now im seeing some leaves turn yellow should i increase nitrogen and or cut back on the others so far its been mostly large lower fan leaves but id like to correct it before itbecomes major

With no reply i left the p k alone and increased the nitrogen seems to have done the trick

Nitrogen is a mobile nutrient, which means it can move throughout the plant as needed. Cannabis needs nitrogen to keep leaves green and make energy from light. All new leaves get plenty of nitrogen to make them green and help with photosynthesis. The leaves that get the most light are the newest, youngest leaves, so the plant “wants” to give those leaves priority for getting light.

If new leaves aren’t getting enough nitrogen, the plant will start to “steal” nitrogen from the older, lower leaves, so that it can give it to newer leaves. This is what causes the yellowing and wilting of a nitrogen deficiency.

It’s relatively normal for your cannabis plant’s leaves to start turning yellow towards the end of your flowering cycle as the plant becomes nitrogen deficient while creating buds.

How true, my girls are within 30 days of harvest and starting to loose their fan leaves, makes the plant sort of ugly but a delight to see it anyway.

If its early in flower i would definitely add nitrogen, the plants need it.
But, i do like my plants to lose the dark green color in the last week or two of flowering.
The taste is much better that way, and you can see the difference in the color of the ash, dark ash no good taste, almost white-grey ash so much better taste...

Really nice looking plant -- pretty much natures way is for the lower fan leaves to loose strength and fall off.
