Hi All,

This is my first Marijuana grow but do I have some experience growing vegetables in both hydro and in soil.

I planted the bag seed in a Jiffy pellet with no real expectations or plan to grow, but up she popped raring to go! So I then put her in some Pro-Mix and added in some homemade fertilizer, letting her Veg until she revealed her sex. Once I determined it was a female I had to figure out what to do with her! Well, I don't have any grow lights but I do have some LED Video lights sitting idle right now, and rigged them up on a timer. I used foam wire to tie down all the branches and flatten the canopy and put the whole thing in a foam core enclosure with a clip-on fan for some air circulation.

Well, it ain't pretty, it seems to be working! I am on the 3rd week of Flower and am feeding GH Liquid KoolBloom right now and the plant seems quite happy.

The photos/lighting make the leaves look yellow, but in reality, they are a vibrant green in actual daylight, if a little windblown.

Thanks to these forums and the wealth of knowledge contained here I have been able to get this far! I am not expecting much yield from these lights, but I did take some cuttings and maybe some better lights are in the near future?

Happy Growing!

Very cool, I had a little low budget grow a while back. They are lots of fun!

Wow, that is one great grow! Fantastic yield!

Update: Week 5 - I was away for a few days and returned to see the lower fan leaves had turned yellow, so I removed them. The plant seems quite happy :)

Thanks! 👍Entering Week 7 of Flower and I got a cheap/used Burple light to finish off the grow, but still no tent.

I have added Beneficial Microbes, Mycorrhizae, and Worm Casting teas all of which she seemed to enjoy!

The buds are firming up nicely and I just have to be patient 🙃

When I flipped the lights to 12/12, I took clones and now have them in Coco coir, in 5-gallon Fabric pots under another cheap/used Burple light. They are looking great and I am excited to see how they do in Coco.

Learning SO MUCH by actually just growing the plant, it has been very informative.

My biggest threat is my Cat, she loves chewing the leaves!😽

Ended up with an ounce of bud plus some of shake. Not the best bud in the world lol, hoping to do better on the next grow!
