Germinated in March = 10ft plant when its time to put them out in June. I live 20min from this farm and socialize with people who work there, they use siskiyou techniques. I've already given too much information that people pay for. It takes massive amounts of labor... very impressive, but not efficient.

siskiyou? ok. but i say if you're going to give a shout out, it should be to the county that farm is actually in. just sayin'.

@Average i'm just being a bitch--my apologies. there's perfectly good reasons to use the descriptor 'siskiyou'.

So my plant has seen some 105 degree f days during veg no problem, but it has been low 90s lately and its suppose to hit 109 tomorrow. Should I worry about a big spike like this in early flower?

My gut says she will be fine but my greenbeans could take high nineties fine but got fried on a 100 degree day.

we've been having 100 plus degrees F and we were very worried, but they seem to be fine. i don't know, but i imagine it is because they're in beds, not pots, so their roots can go deep. i also think the taproot seedlings have helps.

Nice, my plant is in the ground as well, didn’t droop at all in the 108* weather. Good thing because its going to stay in the 100s here through Thursday. Never been a fan of containers outdoors personally, no shade on all the great growers that use them.

Lol, yeah, semi. Started in great soil, but they look hungry hence the feeding.
Lol I was thinking maybe you had some nutrients left over and wanted to use it up before you start a full organic because what you're using for nutrients. I'd like to do organic for challenge but need to research it more before I take the plunge.

106° here yesterday with smoke.

we also do multiple harvests--at least two. it's a race against mold. when it comes to taking a third harvest, my grow partner and i disagree about the return on investment. but numbers don't lie and the labor costs of getting all the buds, even the smalls, are VERY much worth it. at present, if i want a third wave, i have to do it myself. not complaining. :)

they are in a sweet spot-- and weather is the bane, and the joy, of outdoor growing.
I compare it to dinosaurs and mammals, mammals being indoor growers who can control the climate.

I thought all my outside stuff was gonna die and still might im having foot reconstructive surgery soon but to me i proved i could do it

going through the motions with this critical lady still... a couple outside tops on the same side are burnt. the side where i dumped the last remnants from the compost tea (outside the raised bed) three weeks ago, not thinking. generally gettin there
