Quick post showing two of my plants. All plants started as clones purchased from Archive in Portland. The first one is a “Sherbadough” and the second two are “Do-Si-Dos F2”. I have a total of eight plants and seven strains. I’m running two of the Dosi’s.
All eight of these plants started pre-flower/flower, meaning a couple pistils popped on August 2nd. I’ve been watching super close as a newbie and this was definitely the day. Now seeing that got me excited, because it was a couple weeks earlier than locals said it started last year, but since then only one plant really kept pushing forward in flower, the Sherbadough and a couple weeks later the Dosi’s decided jump to in the game. I’ve attached a couple pics and a video below. It’s looking really healthy. None of the plants have hit the stretch phase I’ve heard so much about, but at least the the budding on one has been slow and steady and that’s giving me something to watch. I just want to see HUGE growth. :-)
Next up are my two “Do-Si- Dos F2” plants. They are about ten days behind the Sherbadough with regard to when their pistil production picked up and things started to cluster and take shape.
The remaining five plants have continued to grow but they are moving along very slowly, healthy looking, but taking their time. They have all gained a few more pistils in the last 20 or so days but no major jumps in size or flower. Still waiting.
Right below are the Sherbadough pics and a video. It shows the stacking really well in a few places. Assuming it keeps moving forward it should be a good producer. Every branch is stacking like the two I show in the video. I do have one question about bud development since this is my first grow. Will all those buds on the branch in the pic I provided below “ideally” grow together into one big main cola?. Assuming good genetics and I do a good job growing. Just curious. Thoughts?
And here are a couple pics showing the Do-Si-Dos F2 moving along into early flower:
