Should I use calmag with tap water?

hi everyone, I'm a first time grower and my tap water is moderately hard 60-80ppm should i use calmag with this? Also would it be more beneficial to use spring water and just add calmag and nutes to that?

You could or just to be safe zero that water out... why risk it

Mine's 90's ppm, I don't add it unless a plant is showing a need for it, & it's very rare that they do

i agree with beach,more often than not,it needs magnesium instead of calcium,those are good numbers ,be glad,mine from tap is 315 7.2 ph so ya be glad you got some great water
