dude my plants just hit 38F. Those are not low temps. you and your girls will do just fine in those temps ;)

i do grow and breed for frost genetics though now. So you know im all for the cold strains. In fact one strain i need a frost to hit to turn it black so it will finish.

Thanks appreciate you both, good to know 🤙
I find for future reference if you keep plants above 50 degrees they tend to grow the same. I cant say i ever notice a difference outright. Its when it gets between 40-50 you start to see the slow down generally depending on strain 40 and below can be the mark of frost on your plant depending on genetics and how you manage them. Is things you can do to make them frost hardier. Not so much survive frost but withstand it a little bit more.

I plan to keep my tents over winter in a space that i only will heat around 55 degrees + light temps and nights will be 40-44.

Ive had seedlings survive big frosts and have lost some not because of the coldness but the quick thaw..it is one important thing i look for in strain is there tolerance in the cool temperate climates...

definitely. I find especially to my garden vegetables its not so the much the frost that kills them. But as you said the quick thaw that gives em "freezer burn". the ones that get hit first in direct sunlight in the morning tend to be the ones i lose. that and watering before a frost. Wet soil traps more heat then dry soil. Doesnt work for cannabis thats 10ft tall. but you know pumpkins, squash, etc. great trick. You dont even have to water as much as just make sure the soil isnt on the dry side.

I found a seed in a bag of tangeray by the lemonnade from the cookies dispensary (ironic right) and I can't find any info on her, her buds look a little small to me atm she's about 5 1/2 weeks into flower

If she is taking this long to transition she might be a 10+ week strain.
When does your weather drop into freezing temps?

Also what do you mean by transition? Like into flower?

Yeah transition is the period at the beginning of flower, where the plant stretches in height, and starts putting out it pistils. After transition is when you will see it putting weight onto the flowers. Some strains take longer to transition than others.

I've already been in flower for the past 5 weeks the picture was about 3.5 weeks in and the video above is 5.5 weeks

Understood. You just said the flowers look small for the number of weeks of flower, which suggests a slower transition too me. The pic looks like its just finishing transition and the video looks 2 weeks past transition. 3.5 weeks of transition is pretty reasonable for a sativa dominant strain.

So possibly mid October?
