Hey There, I'm finishing my Master's and my final project involves attempting to understand/address the energy impacts of small-scale pot production as well as openness to implementing policies that would help to address this. If you cultivate on a smaller scale please consider taking a few minutes (the whole survey takes fewer than 4 minutes to complete) to complete it.

Thanks

I took the survey. Some feedback: I think your use of "affecting the environment" totally discounts waste products, which are a big part of environmental impact. Kind of got confused when I realized you were talking strictly about energy use. I also think the lack of contributing to mass marijuana production facilities and supply chains via buying/consumption of their products has to factor into the existential question of how my growing and consumption affects the environment.

Good luck!

Also, one of the questions was incomplete. I have to assume they meant "would you purchase these energy efficient products?" But....they left out the purchase.

Thanks! I completely agree. The challenge of a one or two-semester project is the limitations in scope. These are areas I will definitely not require additional study. There is so much intersectionality in this field, the impacts of state legalization and federal criminalization, for example, the varying environmental impacts even in outdoor production. Hopefully, you'll recommend others take the survey despite the limitations. I am completely aware that this is a limited focus study and will be recommending additional studies
