The worst plant looks like its trying to finish flower, but its a bit early, pushing up the ppm's is what I would have done, but if that didn't work, then I might be taking a squint at my PH meter.

They are on week 3. I am positive root aphids were eating the nutrients. They all looked good and yellowed overnight almost.

Ph steady out at 6.2-6.4. They all conplained when i upped the ec last time.

This is what happened before the infestation got real bad this summer. The next phase is awful.

Bugs are out of control these days, wish I knew how to eradicate the bastards, once and for all. Had mites turn up at the end of week 6 on my last grow, happy to say they came to late to spoil any thing. It used to be that DWC was the way forward, but the bugs seem to have bridged the gap. 😡

And they are getting more resistant to common remedies.

Well listen to this.

We always have a container of organic wheat grass growing on the window sill in the kitchen for our cat to munch on.

We buy it at a local grocery store. It has always been clean. Been doing it 3 years.

Today i noticed it had aphids all over it. Tons of munching regular aphids (not root obviously) fliers on the blades too. And i have seen a tiny flier or two around the house lately. Usually just a fruit fly but now i know.

What the hell?!?!?!

So i went in and checked the growroom after throwing the wheat grass deep in the woods after drowning the hell out of it in the sink. And taking a long shower and new clean clothes.

Did not see any bugs on the leaves or yellow cards under the green cfl i use during lights out.

I will look real good at lights on.

Whew!

I have a rule... no house plants. But now I have a mother in law that I couldn't say no to. I have 4 houseplants about 15ft from my grow and it terrifies me.

Bent the larger Citral x Pow 33 a bit ago. She has the makings of a nice bush.

The other one was more stunted but seems to be taking off a little more now. Tomorrow they will be dry enough for their next dose of botanigard and the larger plant will get a 1.4 mixture with 3 ml protekt and 6.5 ml foliage pro. Still figuring out how much to feed with these nutes.

But the garden is not rapidly degrading like with the bugs. Just need more nutrients now I think.

As long as i harvest some good nugs and the bugs go away this was successful enough.
