Yes you have3-4 weeks for sure. Do you have a micro scope or jewlers loop to check the tricombs. That is really the way to tell if they are ready. Look for the amber.

No. Is there a loupe or microscope that people recommend?

From the looks of it. At least a month. Check trichs. Only way to know.

Ignore your pistols and chop by your trichome, i like to see at least 25% amber, giving your plants cold water in the last few weeks will turn your pistols, get a good glass or jewlers loupe.

Long ways to go man! You still have perky white hairs and not much frost. And don't cut EVER before it Swells! Let the pistils get brown and get yourself a digital microscope and wait till at least 10% amber! But I like about 30%-50% amber. Must be sativia dominant being that fair behind. What state are you in?

Yea it's a sativa. I'm in San Diego. Still have warm nights here. I have the 60x loupe as well, I just couldn't get a good pic. The trics are 100% clear still. I planted this in July so I was figuring it would be late in the season. I'll start bringing her in at night if temps drop to 50. What do you mean by swell (sorry, I'm new)?

most peope got you covered and where you are at vs me with snow today on the ground you will be better than me to continue on. Overall nice looking backyard plant either way :)

I'm thinking of adding some real growers recharge to try and fatten up the buds. She is planted in subcool's super soil. Is real growers recharge tea good for super soil or could I start a nutrient burn?

Oh damn San Diego, I used to live in Oceanside! You don't have much to worry about out there unless your too close to the coast! All though sativa handle mold alot better so maybe not an issue either going later in the season. Basically what mean by swell is your buds calyxes will swell up like sort like puffed up ball. And your buds will look more dense. This is a swelled bud! As far night time temps your right it is better to keep the temp above 50 at night but I have had in past grows had 2 nights of 25 degree weather and they still survived but it will take longer for the buds to finish! I don't grow pure sativias or dominant here in Southern oregon becuase the weather goes to hell middle of october or beginning of November. All my plants are Indica domniant the most Sativa plants I have is Lemon Diesel and Trainwreck.

She's getting frosty and it's still 90 degrees here in San Diego 😄

The buds are getting bigger too. Getting stoked!
