It's been a while since I last posted, been super busy with just life lol. Unfortunately I wasn't able to hold the job at walmart due to it being way too much for my two severe anxiety disorders.. on the bright side I get to enjoy harvesting my ladies! I do have a quick question for those experienced growers out there, is this a good sign that the plant is ready for harvest?

I unfortunately do not have a jewelers loop so I can't get up close to the trichs to see if they're cloudy or not so im stuck with doing it by eyesight. It appears that 90% of the pistols have died and retreated back into their calaxyses, just want to make sure this is a good sign to harvest just so I don't make the mistake of harvesting too early lol. Anyways keep up the amazing work everyone! They're absolutely breathtaking!

Heya buddy nice frosty buds they definitely have the looks of close to finishing look to them but the only way to be sure is with a loupe. If you know the strains flowering time that may help

Omg farmers, was away for three days, and when I came back all my girls were sitting in water. All the way up the lower trunk, and stops right where the leaves, buds start. I should feel relief because the majority of the plants are ok, and I am siphoning the greenhouse swimming pool. stupid stoner didn't dig a drain for this yet. Looks like he will this year, won't he?! Lol

I would use your cellphone, and spread your screen with your finger to get maximum magnification, that's going to be better than nothing. then try and find the sweet spot with the distance, and take some pics, that way you can look at them at them and manipulate the photo's to get a good view.

If you stuck with doing it by hand, I would look at the color of the trichomes, and feel the thickness of the buds. Understand there much thicker when there full of water, so they should be (almost) rock hard, especially from an outdoor plant like that.

Thank you for this. Most of this I have been aware of, but it’s always nice when something “clicks” better and this helped me.

Definitely within the window. If you do chop, try a couple nice cuttings in a vase of water in darkness for 48 hours before they dry. It won’t hurt it and i think you’ll like the clean finish they get.

Am glad it's so cold up here now, that the mold can't thrive. Will find out tomorrow how much water I have left in there, and how much loss. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: when building an underground greenhouse, make sure to dig the drain path!

Aphids this late? This sativa needs at least a couple weeks, wishful thinking since temps have already dipped to the thirties, and suddenly this. Spotted a couple ants too,
any suggestions other than the hose sprayer this late in flower?
Also, is that a mature aphid or a predator?

Heya buddy stretching it out eh? No lady bugs around to take care of the aphids? We had and still have lots of them here but heavy frost is starting to kill them off. You can spray water on them it helps beat them off of your gals. But not to hard of a spray. Give it a try!!!
