Should I use distilled or is regular water fine for the humidifier? Also guys for veg is 45% ok for relative humidity? Thanks.

The humidifiers always say to use distilled water but I never have a problem with tap water.
For veg, you want humidity to be more like 60-70

i use tap water. not buying distilled water all the time. plants dont seem to mind. distilled will be better for the humidifier tho

You’ll just have to replace the filter more often as it fills with calcium deposits. The more calcium the worse it will perform its function. I like my young plants to be in the 50-60% RH range ideally.

Ultrasonic i would use distilled, evaporative pads are ok for tap or well.

Thanks everybody for your responses. I will take your advice and if I have any issues, I will ask for help. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to set the ac infinity t6? Is 76% about right?

Hadn't considered this until now. Do I need to run my humidifier even when the lights are not on? I'm asking because I'm not sure if my current humidifier will have to be programed on a daily basis. I bought the taotronics TT-AH001
